About this property

Paradise Valley Basecamp - Private Hot Tub, Mountain Views, Near Chico

  • Single-level Paradise Valley home for groups of up to 9, with mountain views from the front porch and a private hot tub out back. King suite, queen room, and a bunk room, plus a full kitchen, big open living area, and covered patio with a gas grill. Three blocks to the Yellowstone River and close to Chico Hot Springs and Sage Lodge, a favorite with wedding groups, anglers, and Yellowstone road-trippers.

    THE SPACE
Welcome to our little slice of Montana. We fell in love with Paradise Valley because it's the kind of place where you naturally slow down, spend more time outside, and actually relax. Whether you're here to explore Yellowstone, fish the rivers, hike, ski, soak in hot springs, or just unplug for a few days, we hope this house feels comfortable and easy to settle into.

The house is set up to feel cozy and lived-in, not overly formal. We've stocked the kitchen with the things we like having ourselves: coffee, spices, cooking basics, small appliances, grilling tools, and plenty of space to gather after a long day of adventures.

One of our favorite things about being here is ending the day outside. The sunsets in Paradise Valley are hard to beat, especially from the front porch or the hot tub with the mountains all around you. We also keep fun extras around the house like games, cornhole, a dartboard, coolers, hiking backpacks, and outdoor chairs so guests can really enjoy the Montana lifestyle while they're here.

    SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS (sleeps 9)
    - Bedroom 1: King bed
    - Bunk Room: Twin-over-double bunk bed plus a double futon
    - Bedroom 3: Queen bed
    - 2 full bathrooms
Everything is on one level, with only a couple of steps at the entry.

    GUEST ACCESS
Guests have access to the entire home, yard, and hot tub during their stay. You're welcome to use the outdoor seating, grill, games, coolers, hiking backpacks, and other amenities throughout the property.

Parking is in the driveway (2 spaces). The garage is used for owner storage (a boat, and at times a vehicle) and is not available for parking, but you're welcome to grab the games, coolers, and gear stored there and to stash skis, bikes, or fishing gear just inside the door.

Please take bear spray on all hikes and outdoor adventures. If you purchase bear spray during your trip, feel free to leave it behind for the next guest, as airlines do not allow it to be brought home on flights.

    THE AREA
Three blocks to the Yellowstone River, near Chico Hot Springs, Sage Lodge, fly fishing, horseback riding, weddings, and concerts. A great home base for Yellowstone National Park, Livingston, and Bozeman.

We simply ask that guests respect the property and return any borrowed items to their proper place before checkout. We're really glad you found us and hope you make some great memories here.
