"We had the best of time. Stayed for a month. The owners Marco and Daniela could not have been nicer. The home is a dream. We took morning dips every morning in the lake and walked 2 miles into Varenna every morning for coffee (and back). "

"Although it was advertised as a second floor, we truly had to walk approximately four floors from the street up to our second floor. I will say the view was beautiful, however finding the location and finding the management office to obtain the keys Was very difficult Additionally, the sofa bed was in such bad shape. We felt crippled when we left."

"Super view - surely one of the best on the lake. Really close to Menaggio centre (2 minute walk), Boats, ferrys and buses easily available too - we hired a car but didn't need it apart from a few day trips and there is parking in town. Would recommend"

"Andrea the co-owner was super helpful. We got there past the check-in got off time of 8 PM and he kept checking with us to make sure that we could get in and finally he did help us even at 9:30 at night almost close to 10 to help us take our luggage all the way up to the apartment. He made sure that we got dinner before the restaurant was closing. Walking distance to everything in town easy access to shopping restaurants Marina, very centrally located and a very comfortable and modern apartment...

"Wow!! The views from the apartment were unbelievably gorgeous! The balcony was big and overlooked the water. The beds were comfortable and there was a washer to get our clothes clean. The management gave detailed directions on arrival procedures. I would recommend printing them out before you leave so you have them handy. The little town is so sweet. The food was delicious and it has a ferry stop. I highly recommend staying at this lovely apartment!"

"I will admit that i knew this property had no air conditioning. But, booking for the middle of September, I thought that we would be comfortable at night with open windows. HOWEVER, the street noise is very loud and goes all night!! You cannot sleep with the windows open. Save yourself some misery and restless sleep. The apartment is very cute and in a good location and this problem could be easily resolved for the future by adding some air conditioning!"
