"The flat was beautiful. Right on the river and the balcony over the river. Flat had everything that was needed and a super heater which warmed up in minutes. Absolutely beautiful place "

"Lovely house in a nice location. A river at the back wirh a field of sheep to overlook. It is in a small and very quiet estate. We did not hear anyone. All we could hear was the river. The house is all you need for a stay, clean, well equipped, good communucation. Parking at the front. There were 5 of us , 2 adults and 3 children, 13, 10 & 7. We were more then comfortable with pleanty of space. Good cooking facilities and pleanty of storage space "

"Really nice apartment right in the middle of town. Very comfortable beds and lovely cosy lounge. The kitchen area is also very tidy with all you need to cook for your family. Would definitely stay here again. Only slight downside is the noise from the flats above and below, but this was daytime only noise. We slept very well. Overall very enjoyable stay. "

"2nd story, aged stone 3 bedroom farm cottage reached over EXTREMELY POT HOLED LANE off the main B-road. Our back-injured son suffered 3 painful entries and exits. Suggest (at least) 'leveling' with lorry-load(s) of gravel. Myself, my wife and adult son stayed 2 nights. This was our 42nd Wedding Anniversary trip and a "Happy Anniversary" banner was up for us in the livingroom. "We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Mark and Karen were superb hosts and clearly take pride and care in providing a great experience for their guests, Everything, from the warm welcome to the super comfortable and pristine room and the tasty, well presented breakfast was top notch. Everywhere smells lovely and fresh too! The comfortable lounge area is a little oasis and the honesty bar a great touch, a lovely space to relax and round the evening off with a night cap. The New White Lion is a real gem, highly recommend."

Great stay

"Really nice well run hotel. All staff friendly and attentive. Fantastic evening meal and equally as tremendous breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable, bathroom modern and clean with a nice hot shower. We were on a motorcycle, so were particularly pleased by the large flat tarmac secure car park at the rear with an entry barrier. They have a cosy bar area too, so you can have a drink before or after dinner, plus some outside courtyard seating if the weather is good. Good local beer on tap. Given the included excellent breakfast it feels like good value too."

"Budget hotel and great value for money. Excellent breakfast, cleanliness great. Friendly staff. Room very small but bed comfortable, tv in room and very grateful for ensuite. Some road noise. Always found somewhere to park on the road when car park full. However, it is advertised as a budget hotel so no complaints at all. Stayed for 6 nights with 2 single rooms."
