It is in a picturesque qnd quiet area, and while not in a town, not far to drive for shops etc. The Cottage had a fully equipped kitchen including a slow cooker, stove top, microwave, dishwasher and full oven. The washing machine and dryer were very welcome. The lounge room was also well equipped with free Netflix, and the cottage had good wifi and TV signals. The bed is a double, but comfy. "The house was beautiful and a perfect setting! We loved the blackberries in the garden, space for the bikes (although not secure), large rooms etc.. the double beds were pretty comfy, although the kids singles were a bit less comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped, excellent modern cooker, doors could shut so you didn’t have to wake the house up having a coffee-all great! Only downside was the tv, the Amazon stick did not work so we had no smart functions or Netflix etc..all fine but...

"Highly recommended. A wonderful experience. Comfortable, well designed, spacious air conditioned room with an excellent powerful shower in the en-suite. Fantastic value for money. Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Just a one minute walk to the car park and couldn't be more centrally located in Barmouth. Very happy guests!"

"We had a really enjoyable stay here as a family. The welcome at reception was warm and friendly, which set the tone for the whole trip. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the beds in particular were excellent. The bathroom was spotless, and the toiletries were a nice touch that made it feel a bit more thoughtful than the usual budget offering. WiFi was reliable throughout and the TV worked well, which kept everyone happy in the evening. Breakfast was the one area with room for improvement. The food itself was fine, but the buffet could have done with closer monitoring. A few items ran low and were not topped up quickly, and at one point there were no clean plates available. Nothing that spoiled the stay, just a small thing that would lift the experience if the team kept a closer eye on it. Overall a comfortable, well kept hotel with friendly staff. We would happily stay again."
