"Booked an upgraded room and was given the disabled room. Asked to have a different room but they would not swap me. Hotel restaurant is beautiful presented and the food in Blok was superb. Staff in the spa were quite rude and did not provide me with a towel, suggesting I use a room towel?"

"We only stayed one night so can’t comment on Spa etc. We had a warm reception upon arrival, given our room card and directed to the room. Our first impression was how warm the room was but looked nice. On closer inspection we found bin had not been emptied from previous guest, first score down! We then went into bathroom to find a filthy toilet base, it was terrible! second strike! My husband went to wash his hand and the sink didn’t empty properly, third strike 😔. No shampoo which is very surprising for a four star hotel. We had body wash and soap, both looked the same. TV was poor couldn’t watch BBC1 or 2. Didn’t look like it had been hovered either. If we were spending more time there we would have asked for another room. "

"The room was a decent size & the evening meal was really nice but the internet connection was terrible as my phone didn’t connect for the whole 2 nights we stayed there. Also the bathroom didn’t have a holder for the shower head which was very disappointing so really struggled to have a proper shower"

"Room had blood stains on curtains, dust everywhere. No towels and when asked for them one had stains on it.Cleanliness was poor and the lamp didnt work"
