We stayed in one of the self-contained apartments which was both comfortable and well-equipped. "I stayed alone at Bowens for the weekend and had a very pleasant visit. Host was welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and plenty of pillows and blankets. I couldn't fault the cooked breakfast, coffee and orange juice I chose. I also loved the fact you could have it delivered to your room or choose to have it over looking the lovely garden. "

"We had a very enjoyable stay after a good family party at the pub. The attic room was very comfortable, though rather too warm. We had to open the windows, but the heavy rain that night meant we couldn't leave them open too much. Also, that heavy rain on the Velux windows did disturb us quite a bit. Nothing that the Inn could do about it, just lead to disturbed sleep."
