"Only stayed for the night, room was big, clean and comfortable, lovely view of the river. Hotel is a lovely old building with character, staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. "

"Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor...

"From when we arrived to when we left Nic and Wendy were very attentive. The B&B is lovely and clean, the rooms are decorated beautifully with plenty of facilities. A fantastic breakfast awaits you in the morning. Lots of choice and a tasty full English. Definitely come back and recommend. "

"Room especially the toilet was huge and comfortable. They also gave very large towels which was great. Only gitch as the housekeepinb fell short on the last day - the bins werent emptied and the floor towel was not replaced."

"We can't fault our stay - the room was clean, parking was easy, breakfast was great and the hosts were very helpful throughout. Perfect location for lots of local attractions. We stayed for 3 nights and climbed Yr Wyddfa one day (approx 40 mins drive), visited Betwys Y Coed (~20 mins) and Zip world (less than 5 min). Thank you!"

"Richard is very much the 'Host with the Most'. Very chatty and friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. He went above and beyond for us...Carrying our cases up to the top floor...And down again when we left. Plus he does a cracking packed lunch. Our room was more than adequate, comfy and clean. The only gripe from our point of view is that we'd prefer proper cups and spoons..."

"What a fabulous place and amazing owners. Nigel and Clare are just lovely people. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The alpacas, ducks and hens make it a really interesting place to stay as well. Much easier travel into Betws, Conwy and Snowden from this side as well."

"Comfortable room with en-suite toilet & shower. Pleasant staff, bar prices very reasonable. Good atmosphere in pub areas. Food not bad, (cheese sauce on nachos not good) Would recommend as a good base for surrounding attractions."
