Although the hotel itself is a little outdated, the stunning views more than make up for it and add to the overall charm. We had a lovely stay and would definitely return. "Business solo traveller, arrived 7:30pm and needed somewhere local to a meeting to stay. Reception and kitchen staff very polite and helpful. It’s a basic hotel and in fairness to the hotel, my room was clean and the bed comfy. Sometimes a cheap simple room on business trips are part of the job. If you want big, spacious and lively hotel, this isn’t for you."

"Yes the room was clean and the staff very courteous. Room was at the top of the house and the stairs (for me) were difficult. My new knee aside we did ask for a double room but had to settle for twin beds. As I had already booked a room for April we did try to make some amendments but it seems like we will have to wait and see. Food was good though."
