"The cottage is in a great location for walking and cycling . You can walk or cycle straight onto the old railway line which is the stary of many walks/cycle routes. The cottage is well equiped and we felt very cmfortable there. The weather was good so we were able to sit outside and enjoy the views."

We had the woodland suite with hot tub which all felt very special, the bathroom was especially fancy, and being in the hot tub with all the sparkly lights made such a great end to the day. "Breakfast very good, room nice size, good bed, nice bathroom. Friendly staff. Only problem, extractor fan from neighbouring restaurant, but nothing they can do about that. Keep window closed and the a/c works fine. All in all, nice place."

"The hotel is fairly basic, the rooms look a bit dated, there was a crack in my bath surround and some staining on the ceiling, but I believe the rooms are due for refurbishment shortly, so this is likely to improve. The parking is just over the road, and is free for as long as you're staying (you can come and go without registering again apparently). The hotel as a whole was clean and tidy. The food was good but a bit pricey in my opinion, but it is a touristy area, so base your expectations on that. The real stand-out was the staff, they are welcoming and clearly enjoy their jobs, and are a perfect example of Welsh hospitality. This is a good hotel as a base to explore Eryri"
