"Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The attached spa and outdoor bar/pool were great. Unfortunately the soundproofing in our room wasn't very good. Noise from the road, nextdoor room, and surrounding properties was very loud. The road is not suitable for walking into Massa or Sorrento safely and so you will need to take the bus or drive. "

"Rovatiana was fantastic. She has a great personality for this job. Was very kind. Answered all of our questions and was an excellent concierge. We had planned to drive through Positano and Amalfi the next day. She highly recommended a day boat tour. Fantastic suggestion! Driving is really something there. If you don’t have to, don’t. We were picked up at the hotel and dropped off at the same spot. The restaurant food was very good. We had everything from a burger, to a whole sea bass. Chefs are wanting to satisfy the costumers. Note - while we were waiting for our ride which was outside of the restaurant area on the street, my husband inadvertently dropped his wallet. We had at least 15 minutes so decided to wait in the sunshine up a few stairs. Within a couple minutes, he realized his wallet wasn’t on him. He went back down to the bench we were waiting on and his wallet wasn’t behind the patio cushion against the wall. He picked it up and we were off on our day trip. When we arrived at the harbour to check in, we had to pay the tourist fee in cash. My husband takes out his wallet and all of the cash was gone. We were stunned. It had only been a couple of minutes between us sitting on the bench and going to wait a few feet away in the sun and we saw no one around. Rovatiana is looking into the cameras that are outside and they will view to see who it was. He had between 800 and 900 euro. Was our spending money for our trip. We in no way blame the hotel. "We had an amazing stay at Villa Luisa! It is a beautiful property with plenty of room and comfortable beds. The kitchen is well stocked upon arrival. The view of Capri is outstanding! The hosts are truly the best part. Anna helped arrange several amazing adventures during our stay including a private car tour of the Amalfi Coast with Raffaele who was quite knowledgeable and gave us wonderful insights about the area and recommended a lunch restaurant that was truly spectacular. Anna also arranged a great all day boat tour to and around Capri and a visit to a local farm where they grow lemons and produce wine, olive oil and limoncello. Her daughter Sofy welcomed us on arrival and helped answer many questions throughout our stay. We had Luisa and her family cook us dinner the first night and it was truly authentic, delicious and plentiful. We had leftovers the following night which were just as good! Sofy also helped arrange free transport to a great restaurant (Il Cantuccio) which was a beautiful place to watch the sunset and had terrific food and service. The hosts were very guest focused and made every aspect of our stay truly memorable. We would highly recommend a stay at Villa Luisa!"
