"Very comfortable, warm and convenient place with nice outside space ( when it was dry) Lovely bedroom (and great bed), and shower room Well equipped kitchen and plenty of storage space for foods. Parking down the road was free and plentiful, although the temporary road closure made finding the house a bit tricky. Very helpful host who answered questions promptly, and gave us some very useful suggestions. Would definitely recommend, and will probably go again, for the market and the P'tit Resto...

"The cottage, attached to the owner’s farmhouse, but quiet and private, has been recently renovated to the highest standard. Enormous care has been given to every detail, high-quality appliances and bed linen, lovely furnishings and comfy beds. There is a large, heated, perfectly clean pool right out in front and a large garden where the children can play. The house is a short walk to shops including a great bakery and a 20 minute walk to Amboise with all it has to offer. There are lots of day...

"Despite some mixed weather, we had a lovely week by the river. Lots of wildlife, even caught a glimpse of a red squirrel. The house is well equipped, with a cosy log burner for chilly evenings. Lots to see within an easy drive. There are plenty of guidebooks and maps available in the property for use of guests. This was our second visit and it is perfect for a relaxing stay."

It is a lovely home that is part of a renovated compound surrounded by grape vinyeards near the adorable town of Franceuil. The house is perfect with 2 bedrooms upstairs and a lovely well-appointed and renoovated kitchen and living room complete with a small but upscale gas wall fireplace for colder nights. We would have been a little more reassured about the location if Google Earth hadn't shown a very cluttered area just in front filled with children's toys, a camper and other items, though! Found it a bit difficult navigating from the parking across the lowly light ground in front (uneven lawn). Otherwise, everything was just perfect. Hosts very responsive. Thank you!"
