"Great location, with everything we needed. The accommodation was a short drive to Loche which offered some great restaurants and local markets. We also had the opportunity to see the Tour de France as it went through a local village 30 mins drive away. Pascal was always on hand if we needed her, however we were happy to be left alone to enjoy our holiday. Great holiday, thank you. "

"Quiet room air conditioned. breakfast good, Staff helpful, restaurant nearby was excellent. No electric local charging point that was compatible with UK credit card was a problem and required travelling to Tours to recharge vehicle."

"Great location. All city shops, restaurants and historical sites easily within walking distance. The pool and sunbeds were particularly welcome in the late afternoons on the hot days we stayed there. Fan provided in the room was a bonus (temperatures were exceptionally high)."

"If you like old towns with history and want to stay in an old coaching inn (logis de france), then stay here! It is old but cleaned very well. The restaurant (also dining room for breakfast) is beautiful. Le monsieur (owner) is a excellent chef and madame serves meals for an elegant and unhurried evening. often only 4-6 other tables dining. We stayed for 3 weeks and loved Loches and the Hotel de France!"

"Fijn verblijf. Aardige en behulpzame gastvrouw en heer. Prachtig gelegen. Goede uitvalsbasis voor mooie fietstochten (E-MTB) door bossen, agrarisch gebied, dorpjes en de stad Loches. Het was koud (eind april). Het huisje ligt op het oosten en pakt weinig zon. Verwarming is OK, jammer dat de haard niet gebruikt mocht worden. Verder is het huisje goed uitgerust."

"Never write reviews but felt compelled to leave one here. The pictures don’t do this listing justice, the house was larger than we imagined much to our delight. The outside areas are massive and completely secluded, the pool is bigger than the picture suggests and was a big hit with kids and adults alike. Internally the house is beautifully furnished but really practical and functional. Would happily come back again. As others have said you ideally need a car (which we had) as it is remote, which is what we were after."
