Macdonald Forest Hills Resort
4.0 star property

"There were 6 adults and 2 children in our group. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment and were more than happy with its condition. It was very clean, spacious and had everything required for a self catering stay, although if I’m honest a 2 slice toaster is a bit of a challenge at breakfast time. 😬 The hotel itself is also very well looked after. "Very comfortable and enjoyable stay in a great area of Argyle. Michael was a great host, and having made sure we were comfortably settled left us to enjoy the peace and tranquility that this part of the world offers. Saw the otter at the end of the pier on our first day and loved watching the Oyster Catchers at work on the beach. We will definitely be back."

Ardbrecknish House
3.5 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (8)
"We enjoyed our stay. The 3 bedroom apartment accommodated our group of 6 well and was spacious. The furnishings are a little older but the grounds and the view to the lake are lovely. We enjoyed a drink at the onsite bar. It is worth checking the location on Google Maps as it is a little off the beaten track, but that is part of its charm. "
