Staff was pleasant but don’t plan to eat there. Seems very short-staffed & not prepared to host meals.
The property is beautiful but hot water is warm only so attempting a bath on a chilly night wasn’t a positive experience. Hope the new owners are able to tighten things up & be able to offer what you would expect for an above-average price per night in that area.
Beautiful location and delicious breakfast. Room needed a few improvements but overall a great place to enjoy a quiet weekend in the countryside. Close to Monticello for a historic tour.
We celebrated our moms 60th Birthday here and it was wonderful. Very peaceful, serene and quiet.

meander is outstanding….excellent service, beautifully done, views are stunning and the manager started a fire in fireplace for me before my arrival.
This was our third time staying at the inn. We brought our whole family this time along with our dogs. We had an amazing time. The ambiance is warm and comforting. I can’t say enough about the staff. They were wonderful and friendly and made sure we had a great stay.
Love the historic nature. Room clean and nicely set up. Appreciate the refrigerator and the fireplace. Nice area to walk around. Staff was professional and friendly. Happy to have found this inn!!
