This charming cabin in Ohio's Hocking Hills has hand-hewn-log siding, a saltbox roof line, and a broad front porch, with a swing and hot tub under edison string lights, in view of the firepit. Inside: exposed-beam walls and ceiling; hardwood floors; stone, wood-burning fireplace in the dining and living area. Skylights brighten the spaces and a tiny balcony affords outdoor access to the upstairs bedroom. Great fit for 2-6 people. SITE Close to town and to Lake Logan. Aspen – Hocking Hills is tucked into the woods near three other Chalets, on Blosser Road, convenient to Route 33 and the city of Logan. The closest state park is Lake Logan, 1.5 miles, a 5-minute drive. Old Man’s Cave is, 10 miles, a 15-minute drive. The Chalets front desk is 7 miles, away. For your convenience, online check-in is available, so you can go directly to the Aspen – Hocking Hills, without stopping at the Chalets’ front desk, first. SIMILAR If you like Aspen, you may also like Hawk’s Peak. Alpine and Cumberland are close by and similar, but sleep just four.

This was a nice cabin in a great location close to a lot of attractions and things to do.

The cabin was really cute! Enjoyed the clean hot tub, and the beds & pillows were super comfy! This cabin is the most secluded of all of them and we loved getting to sit around our fire and listening to music. We only got to stay 1 night, but the kitchen had everything we would need to cook meals if we were there longer.I would just suggest if you love watching sports like the Buckeyes, to see what streaming platform they are that day so you can connect on the ROKU (we weren't there to watch tv, but my husband insisted on watching the game on his phone LOL)

Very clean and very enjoyable. There hadn't been any rain so the waterfalls were dry but,we will rerurn again. Hopefully before the year is over.

Ideal weekend retreat

Our chalet was within a few minutes drive of natural and tourist attractions and restaurants, but it felt secluded. It was clean and as described. We really enjoyed the family sized dining table and the hot tub. We could have been comfortable there for a week, although we only stayed two nights. We'd definitely go back.

Hocking Hills Nature Retreat

We went to Hocking Hills to be in nature for the weekend. It was absolutely perfect having a cabin in the woods. As soon as we arrived we saw wild turkeys beside the cabin. The next day we saw deer walking beside the home headed to the lake. Location is awesome for the sites and a coffee house within walking distance helped with the mornings too. Hot tub got used and we played card games in the evening as a family. We cooked our meals with ease, everything we needed was there for cooking. Enough bedrooms and bathrooms for the 4 of us. It was a wonderful weekend escape and we definitely plan to do it again!

Property could use a Refresh

It was clean, but carpets and bedrooms could definitely use a refresh. We could not turn the thermostat below 72 degrees per the placard or risk the AC unit freezing up. We also saw a big spider near the couch which I know is expected in a house near the woods. It was a little bit farther out from the park than we would have preferred, but overall a decent experience.

Perfect loacation.

Close to all the parks and to town but far enough away from town to feel like your not. The cabin was great and the hot tub was amazing.

Cabin in the woods

Chalets of Hocking Hills has an abundance of properties, yet our cabin was nestled in a wooded glen, very private. The cabin was exactly as advertised - clean, comfortable, cozy. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms were just right for our family, and, of course, the family dog. We had a great stay!

Perfect Girls' Weekend

We had a fabulous time at a great property! The instructions for check in and check out were precise and easy to follow. The cabin was very clean and had plenty of the necessities, so we had to make no store visits. Absolutely amazing experience!

We arrived at the property and tried to get in the code for the door was not working. Called the office and the recording said that they were closed. No emergency number. We drove to the office which was a distance away. Found the emergency numbers and called both no answer we were locked out for over two hrs. I had an ice cream birthday cake that melted. When we finally got someone to call us back they couldn’t believe the code didn’t work they said they were a good ways away from us and it would be a while longer. Someone did call back and gave us a maintenance code that did work. Very frustrating that we were lock out for hours with no emergency numbers on the door at the cabin.

This cabin was everything and more I expected

The Chalet Aspen was so great. It was so clean and equipped with all the amenities we needed. We had an issue with the hot tub and maintenance came right over to take of it. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you for helping make my daughter’s 16 th birthday special.
