Hideaway Cabin is on 7+ private acres! The secluded location and brand new furnishings make Hideaway Cabin the perfect choice for your next Hocking Hills vacation! It is on the same road as Secluded Cabin, Tranquility Ridge, Water's Edge, Coal Mine Ridge and Sterling Lodge so it works well as a stand alone unit, or as part of a large group rental. Must be 21 year to rent. AWD/4WD recommended in all seasons.

Quick Getaway

The stay was nice. We woke up to know power around 7am. Power was restored after 4pmWe wnrnt to wak trails and enjoy the scenery. The cahin was very clean and it had everything that we needed.

Hideaway cabin

We had a great experience at Hideaway Cabin! The place was clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable. We brought our dog and she loved the private drive and being able to explore in the woods. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable! I would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay

Our family loved this rental cabin! It was perfect for the four of us and our dog. Great location to get to many of the trails. Very quiet street and beautiful setting. Cabin was very clean and well stocked with the basics. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Cute Cabin

We loved the cabin. Great location for all our hikes. Visited Jack Pine studios to see glass blowing and did the hocking hills zip line. At night we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit! Awesome place!!

Quiet/Cozy

We’ve trailered our motorcycles to Hocking Hills for several years and this cabin is by far the cleanest, nicest one we’ve ever stayed in.

The perfect getaway spot!

This cabin is a little slice of heaven. Beautiful interior, large rooms, great size hot tub, and the most comfortable bed in the main suite - we had the most amazing time! No neighbors in sight and plenty of room to park. Looking forward to booking again!

Cute cabin in woods

The host informed us that the cabin had well water. We didn't realize how much it would smell like sulfur. Thankfully the hot tub only had normal chlorine smell. Otherwise the place was nice and well stocked. Nice to be secluded.

Relaxing

Our stay was very nice and quiet . The cabin met our expectations of clean and reliable. Cooking there was very nice being able to grill outside with propane being that is part of cooking experience in the woods. Will you wear satisfied with all other parts of the stay.

Vacation stay

The cabin itself was very nice and clean. The internet was very intermittent. Most times we had to walk to top of road. First time, in years of getting together, no contact with owners. Also, closing office at 4 on a Thursday and 2 on Friday not good.

Better than the listing!

Best place we have stayed in Hocking Hills. Reasonably priced, quiet location close to trails, super clean, pet friendly, perfectly sized. This is one of the few places I have stayed where the actual property was better than the listing. Really can't beat the comfy family room with plenty of room to watch movies, the hot tub on the large deck for coffee in the morning and wine from Hocking Hills Winery at night, and the sweet upstairs loft. Two bathrooms and laundry were also a big plus. Perfect and we will definitely make this our regular accomodation in the area.

Hideaway stay

Property was clean , had everything we needed. The pond was nice, you just have to clear a path to get to it. We learned quick to wear pants when making the trek down to the pond. Fire pit area was nice, I enjoyed it being in close proximity to the cabin. It seemed like everywhere we went was about 15-20 min drive so that was very nice. M&M diner in Logan was recommended to us by a local and it didn’t disappoint! Overall we were happy with our stay!

Week in the woods

Cabin was very cozy and pretty secluded location not to far nature trails and shopping and restaurants! Everything was great with the cabin except the hot tub didn't work very well so that was kinda of a bummer after hiking all day! If that was fixed I would definitely stay here again! :)

Mini Adventure

We were visiting Cambridge from Florida for the week and booked last minute to take our kids to their favorite place. Hocking Hills is one of our top visits when we are in Ohio. While the cabin was lovely and very spacious for the 7 of us to hang out for the night after a long day of hiking.....they have very strict cleaning rules they send out after you have already book. The trash hadnt been taken away so there was garbage spread out from racoons, there was a dirty sock left behind, the deck hadnt been cleaned off in a long time so there was bird poop around the table, leaves and dirt piled up, the big glass patio door barely moved in it's track to the point where our kids (10 & 5) couldnt get in or out on their own, and when it was bedtime we popped out the couch bed to find a pencil, some popcorn and NO sheets!? Keep in mind this was after a long day of hiking, grilling dinner, firepit and smores, hottub and just hanging out so it was nearly 11pm. No time to get sheets now!? So we used blankets from the other beds for the kids to sleep....And while they allow pets, they stress over finding any pet hair, yet we walk into that mess.The hosts were very prompt on responding to our messages and offered compensation for our troubles. So, hopefully they keep a closer eye on housekeeping employees work ethics if they are going to send out such strict rules for keeping it clean and leaving it clean.....we would possibly stay again if we ever make it back to Hocking Hills.

Super clean, new getaway

The house was super clean, didn't feel like anyone had stayed there before and anything we needed/wanted as on-site. I tried to find fault with the place and just couldn't. Location was lovely. It is far from everything but I guess that's the point. If you can remember to stop at Kroger before getting here, you appreciate the cabin better. There is a pond not far from the cabin that wasn't obvious to us until we started exploring. We loved it so much we're already trying to book it again in the Fall.

Winter Ice Storm

We did not get to stay as there was a winter ice storm that brought the county to a state of emergency. There was no power and trees were down everywhere. We will reschedule our stay. The owner was responsive as our adult kids were there for one night when it was happening.

Nice little cabin!

Our stay was comfortable and fun. We loved the cabin because it was clean and very comfortable. The beds are great. However, if you need to put your feet up by the couch BYO foot rest. Also, the chairs at the kitchen table are a uncomfortable so bring a pillow to sit on. Hot tub is nice but a little hard to figure out the controls. But if you need anything the management company is very accessible and super nice! We never had an issue getting a hold of them. And just FYI you will lose your GPS connection when you are getting closer to the cabin so take pictures of the directions before you head out. In all we had a great time and will definitely be staying there again.
