  • New in 2023, five modern mountain chalets tucked into a hillside with wooded views from walls of windows in the vaulted living and sleeping areas. Sleek efficient design and indulgently luxe finishes reminiscent of your favorite vacation posts, make Legends Lane the latest and greatest place to shack up in the Hocking Hills. With a seasonal gas fireplace, fire ring, hot tub, and shower built-for-two, you may never want to leave. SaunaPods and the Chalets seasonal resort pool are located on the same campus, which is a couple miles up the road from the epicenter of the region's natural amenities: the Hocking Hills State Park Visitors Center. Queen bed. One bath. High-speed internet. Pet friendly (limit two; $50+tax pet cleaning fee; no dobermans, pit bulls or rottweilers.)

We wanted a small getaway here in Ohio and decided to take advantage of a perfect day in March—because we all know how long winters can drag out here. This place ended up being exactly what we were looking for.Getting there was easy, and when we arrived everything was clean and ready to go. The chalet looked just like it did online—no surprises, which is always a plus.If you’re concerned about privacy, you’re good. Neighboring cabins are nearby (around 20 feet), but each one has its own grill and hot tub, so you still get your own space to relax.There are also trails within about a 10-minute drive, which made it even better for us. If you’re into hiking or just want a quick escape without going too far, this is definitely worth it.Would recommend

The location is so convenient to nearby stores, hiking locations, and food. The house itself is secluded enough that we felt we had privacy the whole time. The check in- and out- process was straight forward and easy to manage. Overall, the place was very clean and was a perfect place for a relaxing getaway:)

Lovely retreat

We enjoyed the small space, but felt like we were in a spacious retreat. All the comforts of home, but away! The linens were SO soft and the bed was comfortable and the hot tub was a welcome treat. Very relaxing and quiet.

Great Experience

My wife and I stayed here for a few days just to get away. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was great. The first day we noticed an issue with the grill, I spoke to the guy at the front office and within an hour the maintenance guy had it fixed and even brought me a brand new full propane tank. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone we know.

Relaxing getaway

This was a beautiful, modern chalet. We loved sitting out on the porch in the morning and evening and saw 5 deer just feet away from us! The location was great, not far from restaurants or hiking trails. We enjoyed the pool on a hot afternoon. The only minor remark I’ll make is that there’s not much privacy when you’re in the bathroom and you may want to bring a sleep mask if you’re sensitive to light coming on in the morning. We loved our stay here!
