It is located on privately-owned, wooded land.

Perfect weekend getaway

My fiance and I wanted somewhere relaxing to go for the weekend and this cabin was perfect. It was quiet, clean, and very relaxing. We had the best time!!!

Perfect couples getaway!

Cabin was perfect for two nights. Clean and has everything we needed. Hot tub was wonderful. You are only 10 minutes from 664 where all the trails feed off of. We ate lunch at the millstone BBQ which is only 15 minutes away and delicious! We would love to stay here again.

Anniversary Weekend

What a perfect cozy cabin to stay in for the weekend! It was perfect for our anniversary. Nicely tucked away, yet close enough to any amenities and to hiking trails. We'd love to make this a regular visit! Thank you again!

Anniversary vacation

Very nice place for a couple. Close to Logan and many other adventures. We enjoyed going to nearby wineries and local businesses. Our only problems was the burn ban to start our vacation and wish internet was more available.

Piccolo Cabin is a cozy little getaway.

We loved our stay at Piccolo. It was the perfect size for the two of us. We enjoyed breakfast on the porch and hiking at the Hocking Hills State Park. The cabin is really close to Logan which has a variety of restaurants and shops.

Hocking Hills Cabin.

The property was a perfect space for a relaxing getaway. The next door cabin was far enough away that privacy was maintained. The cabin was perfect for a couple! We enjoyed our stay and can’t way to come back.

Cool little cabin

Very cozy and quiet place to stay. Sit in the hot tub or sit on the couch and watch deer through the window. Not far from the caves or a store.

Peaceful and quaint

Such a peaceful cute little cabin. We had such a great time reconnecting with each other. The hot tub was amazing to relax in. The floors did get a little cold on the kitchen bathroom side with the tile due to it being so cold outside, so additional rugs would be nice, but other than that we plan to come back yearly if we can! We got to see 2 deer in the back and lots of winter birds. We couldn’t get enough of how much of a relaxing peaceful time we had!

Piccolo stay

Wonderful experience. Check in information was emailed in advance with detailed instructions. It was easy to follow and we had no problems. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. It was peaceful and secluded.The cabin was just as beautiful inside as it was outside.

Absolutely heavenly!

We wanted a quick little getaway and this was it! Beautiful little cabin and location. Loved seeing the black and white pony out the kitchen window. Loved the fireplace. Only issue was hubby needed a TV!! Loved the hot tub. Would recommend

Perfect location

We wanted a secluded cabin in the woods and we got that. Truly perfect for our needs. Hot tub and grill on the back deck worked a treat and it felt like there was no one around. Getting up the hill to the property was “fun” gravel road with lots of ruts so drive carefully, but that made it more real! Only real issue was the smell of well water but not a huge problem

Great cabin/Awful guest neighbors

The cabin itself is beautiful and perfect for what we wanted! I wish I would have known there was a cabin so close! Friday was perfect just my husband and I peaceful and relaxing! There was nobody at the cabin up from us so it was perfect! Saturday when we came back from dinner there were 3 vans at the top cabin so a group of people who were yelling and screaming profanity at their kids alllll evening long! So not a very relaxing in the hottub listening to some woman keep yelling "Im gonna beat your ass!"

Halloween Anniversary

My husband and I spent our 3 year anniversary in the Piccolo and it was so precious! A cozy cabin in the woods and the hot tub was just perfect! The only downside is that the water had a pungent smell. Probably due to well/hard water. & the road to the cabin is quite steep and bumpy as all get out. Other than that, truly an amazing cabin!

We enjoyed the cabin! Enjoyed the fireplace, hot tub, and ability to play movies! The hot tub was not clean, hair in the bottom all over the filter. We loved the view! Would have been helpful to know an oil pump was in the back making noise. Also would like to let owners know that hiking is beautiful until you get to all the trash left in what used to be possibly a creek in the back.

Cozy but hot tub issues

Cozy clean cabin but electrical issues with the hot tub had to be addressed and we couldn't use it until the afternoon of the second day. Maintenance staff was very responsive coming out on new years eve and again the next morning to fix it. Just wish we could have had use of it for the entire time we were there since that was the main reason for renting the cabin.

Cozy Cabin

We had an enjoyable two night stay at Piccolo cabin. The cabin was very clean, the bed was comfortable and we found the wi-fi good for simple web surfing etc. The hot tub was very relaxing with a good temperature. The location was nice and secluded except for the one other cabin which no one had rented while we were there. The drive was improved from previous reviews with the steepest section being newly paved with asphalt. We did feel the cabin lacked some of the “little things” that other cabins we had rented had. There was hand soap supplied but no bath soap or shampoo or hair dryer. There were no luggage racks and kitchen supplies were limited…no ice cube trays or coffee filters, no dishwasher and hand washing dishes was inconvenient (no dish basin or drainer). All in all, we had a very nice stay and would return for another 1-2 night stay but probably not for a longer stay.
