My family and I really enjoyed our stay at The Outpost! The cabin is beautiful and close to all that Hocking has to offer. Communication was timely whenever we had any questions. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked for all types of cooking. If you are wanting to play a serious game of pool on the billiard (aka pool) table be aware one side of it is bent but we didn't mind because we were there for the hiking and outdoor activities that Hocking has to offer. The grill has also seen better days but we made it work. We did enjoy the hot tub and the fire pit area had plenty of wood available so no need to purchase any which was great. There was also a pass for ten people for the Logan Aquatic Center at the cabin which was a surprise. We took advantage of that and the grandkids loved it! It is only 20 minutes away. There is also a great soft serve ice cream place just minutes away from the cabin. We would definitely stay at The Outpost again!

This is a large 4-bedroom cabin with nice wraparound porch and hot tub - only a few minutes drive from Hocking Hills state park. The fire pit with several chairs was also nice. Inside, The floors were dirty/dusty when we arrived and there were mice droppings. We notified the property manager and a person brought 2 mice traps. We caught 1 mouse & had to dispose of it ourselves. Also The main kitchen/living area could use better lighting because it was dark

Quite a few leftover items from previous guests including open water bottles and hair clips. Address and internet code were wrong in Vrbo communication. Grill was unusable. Otherwise it was wonderful. We did get a very heavy rainfall and the window in the bottom floor nearest the restroom is not sealed properly. Just fyi
