Whispering Pines is a Beautiful, Private, Pet-Friendly (Additional Pet Fee, Per Pet, Required. Limit 2 Pets) cabin, on a scenic dead-end lane. 1½ miles from Old Man's Cave, in the Hocking Hills.

Free Wifi Internet.

The cabin sleeps 2. It has a one-room layout (the bed is in the same room as the fireplace) and is perfect for couples.

It also has a Full Bathroom, with a shower tub.

Located in the country, it is also close to State Parks. It is about 9 miles from Logan, OH, which has shopping and restaurants.

The Kitchen is beautiful and fully equipped. Modern appliances, pots, pans, dishes....everything you need to prepare a favorite meal. It has a Coffee maker and microwave, too.

You can enjoy the scenic surroundings while relaxing in the Hot Tub!

The sitting area is cozy and comfortable and the romantic, wood-burning fireplace is sure to keep you warm.

There is a RokuTV. If you have a Streaming Service, it should work with the internet.

Cozy Cabin

Beautiful cabin! Great location with it being in the middle of all the hiking trials. The cabin had all you need~just bring your food & pillows and you’re all set. The Hot Tub was amazing after a long day of hiking. Would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely perfect weekend getaway cabin

Couldn’t be more pleased with the cabin! Was exactly the right size for a couple to stay for a long weekend. Less than a 5 minute drive from Old Man’s Cave. Gorgeous setting, convenient, clean and beautiful. Would happily rent the same cabin again.

Long weekend

Stayed for 3 nights. Great location. Very clean. We have sedan and I would recommend vehicle with more clearance. The driveway is quite steep on to the road.

Like a Meditation/Relaxation Recording

Our stay was exactly what we were looking for, which was to unplug. No wi-fi or cell phone service was a bit more than what we were expecting, but was exactly what we needed. Sitting outside in the morning and evening was so peaceful. We stayed Monday through Saturday. On Friday, people started coming in more and there was a little more noise. We also had one time when we had trouble with the lock. We called the number given and they were out within minutes. Got it fixed while we were off enjoying the park. So maintenance is very responsive.

no power or water

The property was great and secluded and clean. Could use some hooks in the bathroom for wet towels, etc. kitchen utensils were sparse but doable to cook. Unfortunately, on our last day we had no power or water due to the electric company trimming trees from a helicopter about 30 feet from the back of the cabin. It was very unnerving and we understand management had no control. We messaged them about the issue and kind of expected an apology or offer of a credit for the inconvenience, but did not receive one. It did put quite a wrench in us trying to pack and clean up and really was a downer at the End of a great stay.

Disappointed

Pillow but no case, Pillows thin and uncomfortable. No mattress pad. Outside lights lining walkway didn't work, which is a safety issue. Minimal light outside cabin. Some lights don't work on back porch Have Roku TV but no wi-fi to use it. Hot tub doesn't appear to have been cleaned in quite some time. Buttons were switched? Ceiling fan didn't work. Not very clean. Top of fridge (eye level) has a layer of dust on it as well as ceiling fan. We are expected to clean before we leave, but maid service expects a tip? And it was dirty when we got there. Mouse poop in kitchen cabinet and windowsill. Needs freshened up- stove flaking and rust, front door needs painted, cushions dirty. Beds uncomfortable. Stove doesn't work well. Mouse poop on window sill and where pans at

The cabin was absolutely perfect for our trip to Hocking Hills. It was clean, comfortable and a really cool property. The host was attentive and very easy to deal with. I highly recommend this place to stay!
