"Check in was quick as I completed pre-check in online. The property is on a quite street in the city mile. I had a junior suite which was a great choice, spacious and big bathroom with separate shower, toilet and bath, plus walk in wardrobe. Japanese toilet is a nice touch. "Do not stay here! The room we got was really dirty and had one working outlet. Given that it is such a small and minimalist space, we had hoped the room would at least be clean. The bathroom had a horribly poor design with no shower door, so anytime the shower was turned on, the entire bathroom floor was soaked. There was no way to keep the shower water inside the shower as there was so little gradient to the floor to the drain. The reviews said the hotel had beauty rooms on each floor so I didn’t bring a hair dryer. There are only 2 beauty rooms on floors 3 and 7 and they only had one working hair dryer. Those rooms were also incredibly dirty with hair everywhere. There wasn’t even any space to open up our suitcases, and I know the square footage is described but some floor space to have an open suitcase isn’t even available. So much wasted space in the bathroom and bed frame. We ended up only staying one night here and booked another hotel close by. We just couldn’t stay in the room feeling like we were sleeping in a jail cell. When we checked out early, the staff just said okay well enjoy the rest of your stay. I didn’t expect a refund but maybe a more sincere apology. Might work for some, but the rooms are simply too small and dark for two people. I can’t even imagine having more than two people in a room. If you are traveling with more than one person and want a comfortable stay, just basic hotel necessities, do not stay here."

"Nice hotel with a stylish, modern design and very clean throughout. The price is reasonable by London standards, offering good value for money. The location is probably not ideal for tourists and is better suited to those working in the area. That said, if I have business nearby again, I would happily stay here and would definitely return."

"I have stayed at this hotel several times, and it's been going through upgrades since I believe new ownership; it's now a self-check-in, although there are staff in the reception to help. I was on this trip in one of the older 10th-floor non-refurbished rooms, described as an 'Executive Room'.... well, executive it isn't. Tiny, not the size specified on the website, and with amenities out of the 90s, a broken, empty fridge and a VERY narrow 'compact' double bed. A tiny old TV which would not work. When I arrived, there was a lack of towels and toilet paper, but I sent a WhatsApp message in response to the hotel's check-in WhatsApp, and these were brought up to the room within 30 minutes, which was great, thanks to a fantastic member of the house staff. If you do not have WhatsApp, I think you're snookered, as there is no telephone in the room at all, so the only way to talk to staff is via WhatsApp or to go all the way down to reception. There is also no room service! I have to say, the staff are always fantastic, but for £180 a night... I would hope for more!"

"Entire experience for this 1 night stay was very poor. Checked in and found that the elevators were faulty. So my partner and I along with another couple staying had to get assistance after being stood waiting for 15 minutes. First impression not great. Shower families looked very worn and damaged. Moving on, went to use the iron in the room to then have it smoking and smelling of burning plastic. Requested a change of iron and waited an hour for this to be brought up. Whilst waiting we ordered room service. Both dishes arrived to the room at a reasonable time, however both disappointing. The chips were burnt and inedible and the poke bowl salad looked off/wilted and almost like it should have been thrown away days prior. Tried to call down to reception to inform of the problem and after 3 attempts the phone rang out. Given our limited time that evening we needed to be at a local event nearby so agreed we would address the issues upon checkout the following morning. Around 90 minutes after eating the food from the room service my partner became ill and had to use the toilet as they were having rather bad diarrhea. This was from the food he had consumed from the room service as he hadn't eaten food for sometime prior. This also impacted our evening and sleep as he was having endless trips to the toilet. Causing dehydration and sleep deprivation. Raised concerns with the reception manager who seemed pleasant but still charged for the food that caused problems. Awful!"

"The view is amazing. My daughter had a larger window rm933 with a Tower Bridge view that was spectacular. The only challenge was trying to keep the room cool. They offer fans which is helpful. I had a corner room that was smaller with a smaller window. It didn’t seem to get as hot and had the same great view. Rm953 we all agreed the view was worth it! The breakfast was delicious and the staff was always very helpful"
