Great central location ! - with Aircon for the hot summer * Designed by a well-known fashion designer to be the perfect home from home to escape the buzz of central London. This non smoking large apartment of 60 sq m sleeps up to 6 and is in a historical London building near the very center of London . We are near Borough market and there many good restaurants and pubs nearby and good value .

Newly refurbished with 5 star fun contemporary comfort and famous art , this beautiful family holiday rental is 2 large double bedrooms - one with 2 extra mezzanine double beds 4/5 beds, great for families !

There are 2 en-suite shower rooms which is a huge luxury in London and a large beautiful light living room with famous art on the walls a large dining table to seat 8 and a well equipped kitchen.

We have fast Wifi internet wall mounted TV in the bedrooms and a big TV in the living room.

The apartment is very peaceful light and warm .

Central London is very close. Kennington tube /subway and Elephant and castle are in zone 1 and only 5 mins walk away. There are many great Old English pubs and restaurants nearby to amuse you, we have a very well stocked supermarket and good food markets nearby.

Transport around London could not be better with subways, buses and trains all within 4 mins walk, and Big Ben and London Bridge are only 20 mins walk.

Perfect in every way!

We love everything about our stay! Great location, close to the tube - and London Bridge was 2 stops away! Perfect layout for our family, the two bathrooms were much appreciated. AC in the bedrooms worked beautifully during our June stay.We found the decor to be stylish and tasteful.Owner is also super responsive. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Clean and airy, host was most accommodating as we arrived early. Very comfortable beds. There are steps in the apartment, and would suggest installing a rail at the very top of the outside stairs.

Good apartment with everything needed

This apartment is a good location with easy access to a couple of tube stations. The living area can get pretty warm but the bedrooms have heatpumps and so a comfortable night is guaranteed. The apartment is well laid out and had all the appliances and equipment for a short or long stay

Stay was good.

The place was as listed. Nicely decorated, area was good. We like to walk so distance to everything as good. Out of the hustle and bustle of downtown. Only reason for 4/5 is the smell upon arrival was overwhelming of days-old-trash, this lingered into day 2 of our 3 days. But host was quick to respond and remedy the situation. This would not deterred from staying again based on stellar communication and quick action.

Location, location, location

We immersed ourselves in London: bought Oyster cards and travelled by Tube. Matthew’s flat location is close to two different Tube lines. Enjoyed handy grocery shops, hidden garden pub, and Italian food. A short Tube ride away from all the central sites; Westminster, the Tower, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, Kensington. Great place to stay, comfortable beds, cosy kitchen, clean and stocked bathrooms. Bring a face towel.

Clean space

Very clean flat with plenty of space for the four of us. Table was difficult to sit at for a meal with design of table and the living room chair has deteriorated in quality since photos were taken but still comfortable. No communication from owner that someone was coming at 7:30 in the morning to check a utility resulted in uncomfortable and awkward situation but owner responded quickly to message about it. Liked the proximity to pubs, grocery market and metro

Nice & cosy appartment, perfect for exploring London

Overall we (4 persons) had a wonderful stay at the appartment located in Elephant & Castel, yet there are a few things to criticize: code at the front door was wrong on the pictures shown in the booking information. Not very funny when you're standing in the London rain. The problem was solved via Chat with a lovely lady from FeWo-direct, so after more or less an hour we finally could get in. Furthermore on the first day, we didn't have warm water & central heating, which was then fixed by a nice "housekeeping" guy. So all in all a pleasant stay with some blemishes.

Good stay

The bedrooms are very nice, each with comfortable beds and a shower. WiFi works great and the kitchen appliances are all modern. The apt. Is a 5 minute walk from the Kennington underground station which is convenient to downtown and other lines. The restaurant next door has great onion soup and live music…there is a coffee shop a 5 minute walk (not towards the Underground.) and small shops where you can buy most of the food and wine you’d want. We were 3 friends and found the apt. met all our needs, My only comment would be the furniture in the living room has seen better days. Other than that it was fine.

Perfect respite for London city living

The flat was comfortable and nicely appointed. Located between the Kennington station and Elephant and Castle the corners of the city is reachable and with ease. The space was clean and was likely home for a number of others before us, but we never got that skivvy feeling. Instead, the bedrooms and beds were perfectly comfortable with great sheets and pillows, the bathrooms were updated with the special surprise of flat irons and a great hair dryer. The neighborhood was full-on London with a convenient grocery store and a couple of restaurant and pubs that make London famous. We will definitely stay again. Thanks, Irma!

Great location, great flat for a family

This property is great! The pictures accurately portray what you are getting. It is spacious for a London flat. The fact there are three beds in the second bedroom is amazing. We have 3 boys 10 and under, and they loved having their own bed. The kitchen is fully stocked, the artwork is funky, and having 2 bathrooms each with a shower is great. The neighborhood has everything you need. The walk to Kennington station is less than 5 minutes. Being on the Northern line its easy to get anywhere. There are local restaurants (including Domino's and a Chinese takeaway in the same building). There are two small supermarkets between the flat and Kennington station. I brought the boys to the Castle pool a couple of times which is also very close to the flat and has a great playground for smaller kids. Matthew the owner, and Irma the property manager were both great from booking through departure. If you have a question, they answer it quickly. Irma babysat our boys one night so my wife and I could have a night out. We can't thank her enough, and our boys loved their time with her. I would highly recommend this property to anyone coming to London (particularly with a 2 or 3 kids).

London stay

Spacious property that is close to two tube stations. Worked great because we were in the city all day every day. Restaurant next door and pub down the street, but not many other walkable restaurants in the area as it is being revitalized.

Very nice place until the last night when there were rats in the ceiling scampering around. We had a 6am flight the next morning so didn't contact the property to see what they could do about it but it was a little disconcerting.

Excellent stay

Great location, cozy and comfortable. We had 5 in our party, 2 adults and 3 older teen boys and all were comfortable. Love the 2 bathrooms. Easy walk to subway and quick to get to attractions. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay again.
