The Apartment
A lovely, light and airy apartment with two double bedrooms in a beautiful Victorian terraced house in the heart of beautiful Notting Hill. Recently decorated and with access to magical private gardens so you can live out your Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts fantasy without having to climb over the fence! On a quiet street but very near hustle and bustle of Portobello Road. Live the film!

The apartment sleeps four comfortably in two equal sized double bedrooms with queen beds. Perfect for two couples or a family with kids (of any age!).

Neighbourhood overview
For those who have seen the film Notting Hill, they won't need explaining what makes it a picture postcard perfect example of London at its best. Tree lines streets, old Victorian gas lamps, magical communal gardens between each block, charming pubs, trendy restaurants and bars, Portobello with its world famous antique shops plus Westbourne Grove with its designer boutiques. I could go on for ever...

Getting around
And also really convenient for central London. A 10 minutes walk to Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, a 15 minutes walk to High Street Kensington and its shopping. A 20 minutes walk to Westfield and its huge shopping centre. And a 25 minute bus ride (or 15 minute subway/tube) to Marble Arch and Oxford street.

Great Stay!

Great location, a few blocks to Tube, easy and direct route. Quite apt and very nice deep tub! Great restaurants nearby not to mention shopping. Loved the private garden too!

Notting Hill adventures

Beautiful neighborhood and interesting location, lots to see locally and close to tube for wider adventuring. Garden was a lush and beautiful respite to regroup and breathe in the arrival of autumn.Tass made connecting easy and provided excellent resources and referrals to enjoy a local experience.

Great flat in Notting Hill

My family and I stayed in this flat for a week. Great area just two blocks away from Portobello Road Market. About 1/2 mile from tube station and several bus stops within a block or two which made it easy to get to the heart of London. Communication with Tass was great throughout. Would absolutely stay here again.

This I a great place. The owner Tass is so nice and accommodating. If you have any questions or concerns he will respond pretty swiftly. Unfortunately for me I was not able to stay but my friend was. This is her review: Beautiful area, excellent location, convenient, clean and cute! She loved it. Definitely would stay again.

Good on a budget!

The Booking and check in were fine. And we chose this location because of the reviews, which were great! We decided not to stay here - when we arrived we made other plans and left. This just wasn’t to our standards. But that is my error, the price was very affordable which matches the establishment. For someone on a budget this is fine, my daughter had chose for us on a budget. I am little bit older and like my amenities!! So not the fault of the VRBO, just the fault of me not checking. It’s a fine place for the price!

Great property, amazing location and awesome host.

This property is in the perfect location. Lots to see and do in the area. The property was perfect for 2 couples, it was clean and has everything needed to make for a comfortable stay. The host has great communication and was very helpful. The only thing that we could complain about was the main communal stairwell to the flat was quite dirty, if this clean it would make a much better first impression. Other than that, I would stay here again and recommend to anyone!

Super Notting Hill location!

Owner was amazingly helpful and available for information. We had a wonderful time. Lots of shops and stores nearby. Notting Hill tube a 10/12 minute walk. 52 bus into Knightsbridge/ Victoria right at the doorstep. Portabello Road 2 blocks away. Flat had all the amenities for cooking in the small kitchen. WI-FI and TV option excellent! Only drawback was I never saw on the listing any mention that it was on the 2nd floor, 44 steps up and no lift. A little challenging for our 70+ year bodies BUT boy were we fit after our 15 day stay!! Brilliant time.

Summertime in London

We absolutely loved our stay here and I can't say enough about how it made our first trip to London so enjoyable. Working with Tass was a pleasure as he was super helpful with information about the apt and the area with clear instructions concerning check-in and checkout ... no issues at all. Tass was remote in NYC, so a gentlemen named Solomon let us in when we got there and helped us get adjusted. Super nice guy. The Notting Hill area is just splendid being convenient to great shops, fantastic restaurants, grocery stores and pubs just minutes away. The Notting Hill Gate Tube station is only 15min walk with bus stops right across the street. This made it super easy to get around London. Loved that both the Tube and Bus are tap to pay. This wonderful apt was such a joy to come back to after a long day around the city or after long day out of the city … which we took to Bath. Look forward to coming back in the future

Très bien situé , rue calme à 2 min de Portobello Road avec café, bakery, restaurent et boutique . Autobus vers le centre ville juste à côté . Desservi par deux lignes de métro. Bel immeuble avec verdure à l’arrière . Aurait besoin d’une couche de peinture pour rafraîchi le tout. Et bord du bain à refaire. Matelas d’une des chambres à changer. Cuisine peu équipé . Plafond haut qui donne de l’espace. Vent en tout temps donc pas besoin de climatisation

Top marks flat in a top marks neighborhood!

The flat is incredibly pleasant, and its prime location, near all the good things in Notting Hill, simply cannot be beat! Including access to the absolutely stunning garden... And Tass (the host) was eager & responsive to the few typical wrinkles that came up. My wife, 3 young kids & I stayed for a week, and when we go back to NH again, I can't imagine staying anywhere else!

Trip of a lifetime!

I have always wanted to visit London. My son and I wanted to stay in Notting Hill since it was convenient to so many shops, restaurants, and close to the Tube. The property was clean and whenever we had questions the owner responded immediately.

Much to see and do in the Portobello Road area and this flat is right around the corner. It is up 3 flights of stairs if that matters to you. Kitchen is well equipped and everything you need for your stay is provided. Great communication and house manager met us for check in.

This was our third stay at 14 Arundel Gardens, and we continue to love it. The garden view from the living room and the sunrise view from the bedroom offer a peaceful connection with nature— even on a rainy January day.

Wonderful Stay!

This brightly lighted flat has nearby grocery stores, a book store, a butcher, bakeries, liquor stores, flower stand, and restaurants-- everything one could need. The flat was great. Bedding was comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and the lounge spacious. We stayed for 5 1/2 weeks and had a grand time. We look forward to returning. Our host Tass was friendly, attentive and responsive.
