Misleading

Interesting place. Advertised as a guest house on some sites and Bed and Breakfast on others. Unfortunately when we arrived were told breakfast was not included - that seemed strange I booked the room on the pretence it served breakfast - being a "Guest House". I paid top price for this site when compared with other B & B's. Although they did end up supplying cereal for breakfast. But that is not good enough for the price. Also daily service was minimalist. After the fifth day of my stay, had to ask the proprietor for clean towels. Should never have to ask. All services should be updated daily. Overall not a bad accommodation. But too dear compared to the competition. Should changed the name to not include the word, "guest house" as this is misleading.

Very welcoming and friendly staff

I have just stayed at Clay Farm House for two nights and had a lovely experience at this property. The owner was really nice and welcoming and the property was clean and tidy. I had not stayed in the area before and there was a lot of information about local eateries which was greatly received. I would definitely stay again.

Wonderful home away from home!

My husband and I had a delightful 2 night stay at the Clay Farm Guest House. We really enjoyed the spaciousness and privacy of the suite.
