Very nice traditional past era property to stay in, great views from the window and close short bus ride to Victoria station so easy to get around, bus stops close by, local convenience shops in walking distance
Good location close to Metro station and again served by buses.
Room is adequate, though small. Not particularly good if you have lots of luggage because of narrow stairs and limited floor space in room.

Good and pretty clean but bring your own soap from home
Hotel is located in an excellent area, next to the city centre, Victoria Station is at few mins walk. Price is very reasonable. Reception staff was very friendly and polite although the areas and the bathroom wasn’t very clean, I guess there’s an issue of dirty water coming back into the toilet.

Good for what it is
Very good location in zone 1, private bathroom in our room and decend size of room, comfy bed. Improvements needed though ea, paining and decorating
Great location, friendly staff. Much earlier check in time than most places.
Comfy bed.
Room I was in didn’t have a remote for the tv and the water In the shower only ran cold but both probably room specific issues.
If you're reading these reviews, you should definitely take note. My experience was:
- less that friendly staff
- extremely hot room with no ventilation
- dirty
- dodgy wiring
- did I say dirty?
That being said, it was the cheapest place in the area (even at £124 for one night). In the future, I'll pay more and stay somewhere else.

We reserved 2 rooms for one night, and was appropriate for the rate. Safe neighborhood, rooms were clean, no bugs. I would recommend to stay on a lower floor as no A/C, no screens on the windows, no elevator. We stayed on the 4th floor and was super hot so had to leave the windows open (mosquitos and birds). Water pressure in pipes was very loud on 4th floor, not on the 3rd floor where our second room was. Staff was very friendly. I would be ok to stay again, for one night only not longer.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Hotel isnt bad for the price, thankfulky there were multiple beds in the room to choose from as the first one I picked was clearly broken. I nearly sank to the floor. Staff were very friendly and helpful, over all the room was clean. As all I wanted was a place to sleep for one night, it provided what I needed.
My son and I were doing a UK and Spain football trip and chose this for the location and price. This was confidently located between Arsenal and Chelsea stadiums and also close to Big Ben, London Bridge and Buchanan Palace. We had a busy schedule and had no plans to hang out in the room, just needed a place to lay our heads. However the beds weren’t the best, TV didn’t work and the shower was the size of an RV. But for $50/night, wasn’t expecting too much.

The beds were really comfortable. We did get given a key the whole time we were there. The guy on reception had to unlock our door everytime we came back. The walls had these stains on them as thiugh someone had been washing the walls and left halway through. The room smelt musty. Positives near station so easy to walk to. Area seemed safe and quiet.
The good: Great location, near Pimlico station and walking distance from Victoria
The not great: No air con so we had to leave the window open (outside the window was a ‘popular hangout’ for pigeons and a pipe that sounded like we were under a waterfall when used), no free wi-fi, the tv didn’t work, towels were too small.
The bad: The handle on the bathroom was not secure, the shower was too close to the toilet bowl so I couldn’t sit facing forward as there was insufficient legroom, there was a ladder set up next to our window which didn’t make us feel especially secure.

Mid-quality hotel
Hotel was okay. Not much to scream and shout about, good value for money.
Did have an issue on the last night where we got back to the hotel and one of our bags was just out in the hall for no reason. We had left it all in our room, when we asked at reception all he said was that it was already there when he started shift. The bag was left wide open with a pair of AirPod Max on show so luckily didn’t get stolen, but there was still a risk, and it was quite frustrating that they couldn’t give us an answer as to why it was moved out of our room.
The room was disgusting and filthy. Matrress was old and springs stuck in back. No air in room. Door was fire door but not adjusted so heavy and dangerous. Could lose fingers. Left case there for £5 cash as needed to vacate room by 10.30am. They were left in reception area and when i
collected was not acknowledged or checked who i was so could have been anyone taking it. Staff not interested. Too many issues to list here. Location was good though but stay somewhere else there!!!!!
Pay a bit extra and feel safe comfortable and clea
At hotel 11pm after checking in earlier that day. They had no room for us. So they sent us on a 15 minute walk to a new address to an alternative property. House with a shared bed instead of twin. Room house was grubby and tatty. Unclean. Cigarette on floor bugs and shower bathroom wet and dirty. Lights left on all night in hall with window above bedroom door. Disturbing sleep. Property in a Good location.

Disliked: Amenities
It was very near to victoria coach station and also very short distance from hotel to westminister / london eye / piccadilly which was a super plus.. double bed was comfy bathroom was super clean.. bed sheets were bit dirty and it was weird policy of hotel to not let guests have keys with them and submit them whenever a guest leaves premises even for short term. Also they charged taxes for card payment and didnt specify why. Door locks and fixtures were not properly closing so it was bit unsafe but didnt have any safety issues.
Last time I stayed up London way we were an hour out of the city so this time I wanted somewhere much more central and gave myself £200 budget for four nights for me and my lad. Was it possible? Found this place for just over budget. Read some really bad stuff but chanced it. Room was small but cosy, comfortable bed with clean bedding, heater was on the whole time which was a relief as it was 3 degrees out, shower was lovely and hot too. The only real negative was the TV not working. Reception was 24 hours so came and went as we pleased, five mins walk from Pimlico tube station. Tesco, Nisa and couple other small shops within ten mins walk and we got takeaway burgers from the Smash place around the corner. Would definitely return and glad I ignored all the negative comments beforehand.
Im not picky at all, I m a nurse by profession , but this is one of the worst hotels I’ve ever had the displeasure of staying at. All the reviews that have been posted are completely accurate. I walked into the room in disbelief, the bed cover was stained with blood and toilet sit was dirty . They actually think it’s OK for a room to be under construction while hotel guests are staying in it. Our room was next to the reception so all the noises and sounds and everything around was like you are in a bad horror movie. The door handle to bathroom is loose and wobbly and on one occasion I remained blocked in the bathroom, bed sheets are stained a disgusting brown, window handle is busted. They give you a tiny towel with what can be described as a pebble shaped soap bar to clean yourself with, I had to ask for toilet paper . Please, do not make the mistake I did, get yourself a nice hotel, even if it costs more, trust me, it’ll be worth it. But if you are adventurous and you would like some infection or the sounds of the pigeon s taken a bath by my guest. Do your self checking .
The positive close to everything metro underground shops cafe .
A narrow, multi-story building with simple, single rooms with a bathroom and shower. The price is reasonable. The reception is friendly. Relatively quiet.
