Overall it was a pleasant stay but the hot breakfast that we paid for was not consumable and I'm not at all a fussy eater and don't have much expectations.

It's a great place with comfortable beds, quiet rooms, clean and the staff are amazing. Special thanks to Sonia who was honest and upfront about any issues that existed and helped sort them out quickly and efficiently. Great stay for over 2 weeks!

Low cost, perfect for business

I would recommend this hotel to anyone just looking for a bed for the night or maybe if you're on business or work trip. It's not what i'd call a luxurious hotel, but the room I stayed in was comfortable enough although the shower screen was missing it's 2nd door, however it still worked, the shower was strong and the room was clean. I think you've got to remember this place is the cheapest available, and it's got ample FREE parking and free internet, so I'd go back definitely. One last thing, i have stayed here before and the last room was a bit "Tired' but the reception moved me to a better room, no problem, so all in all I would recommend this place... remember though, it's a low cost business hotel, so don't expect the Ritz!

Absolute gem!

The hotel is covid compliant ensuring everyone keep their distance, wear their masks and sanitisers were provided in the common areas. We requested an early check in with no pressure. There is plenty of spaces to work in the lobby and managed to attend my virtual meeting peacefully while waiting for our room. The hotel and the staff did their best to get the room ready for us. We got in to our room and they gave us our request. We booked a family room and the room provided didn’t have a table in front of the sofa as per the picture but they manage to give us one and an electric fan as it was quite a hot day. The room has tea and coffee making facility with no water provided but they gave us 1 free big bottle of water for free. The staff and the manager were all fantastic! Late in the evening, I realised one of the towels was dirty of stains and they replaced it straight away. The building is old and so the room has wear and tear but overall for a 2 nights business trip, I would highly recommend this hotel. Wifi is very strong and the place is dog friendly! The breakfast was served as requested and can’t fault it. I would definitely stay here again as it’s 20 mins drive to Walthamstow Central and plenty of walks around with a lake 3 mins by walk from the property. Thank you to the management and staff! You were all brilliant!

Basic but comfortable hotel

Decent hotel with basic necessities. Staff on reception were a bit slow, were waiting for around 20 mins to check in as she was on the phone. Rooms are basic and clean, no mini fridge or air con as advertised on the website. Beds were comfortable and was practical for a one night stay.

Old condition for the facility. I have to waited for 2 hours for some staff come to make the heating work in my room. There were some drunken gusts shouting, laughing inthe corridor around midnight. The location of the hotel is ideal. Inside a forest.

dirty carpets, blocked sink, no toilet paper, only one towel, mastic and glue all over the bath tub and other places, and provided two single beds instead of a double that I booked, when complained they took an hour to find me a room with a "small double bed" which was little larger then a single bed! Cheap dirty sub standard hotel - DO NOT BOOK!

Don't stay here. Not worth the money.

The room was cold, the shower wad cold, the bed was very uncomfortable and the staff wasn't honest when i told them the shower was cold and they said it would be fixed shortly. The hole place is really old and was not too clean.

Our Bedroom was clean but the bathroom was awful. The tiles around the bath were full of black mould and the toilet bowl had a dark brown stain at the bottom not at all nice. Quite disappointed.

So much potential but sadly let down. Check in was at the bar and was quick and painless. The walk to our room was really a sign of things to come, the carpets, although not sticky, were dirty with stains on them. One of the room keys didn’t work, lucky we had two.. The room smelled of smoke, although the whole floor was non-smoking. It was only after going into the bathroom did we establish that it was most likely coming through the vents - along with the sounds of other guests. Closing the bathroom door and opening the door and opening the window helped. The bed was a double, in need of a new mattress. The plus was that the sheets were all clean. The rest of the room was okay. Although the shower was more of a drip then a shower. Breakfast was not good... we went down at 9, half way through service and we needed to ask for things, the food was lukewarm and the coffee cheap. Plenty of car parking though but once again in need of updating. The exit barriers were missing, so anyone was able to drive in and out. The final thing was dogs... there seemed to be two or three dogs staying on our floor. Not a problem at night, but during the evening they were constantly barking.

Hi, We recently stayed at your hotel Friday (28th) for one night till Saturday. We have stayed a few times at the hotel because of the location near London. But I have to say this is our first stay with our baby daughter and I was extremely disappointed and upset with our stay. On arrival there was no one at the abandoned reception area we checked into the bar. There was dodgy encounters going on with a guests running into rooms with a carry bag looking very shifty. We were in room 111 on the lower ground floor. There was an overwhelming smell of smoke as we walked down and I felt this wasn’t a suitable place for a child! I was disgusted in the room. It was tired, unloved and in desperate need of a refit and relift. The sink smelt with no plug, the shower hardly functioned with a small spray of water. I was going to bath my baby but it wasn’t clean. There was no cot when asked before arrival so we had to wait over 30mins for someone to go and get one (at this point our baby was screaming to get into bed). There was blood stains on the bedside table and the Tv had very little signal. We couldn’t wait to leave and it really ruined our stay. The breakfast was a disappointment...we went down early to find hardly any food left! No high chairs accessible. I am hoping you can refund our stay immediately for the disappointment and we will not be returning until the hotel is transformed into a welcoming place.
