We stayed at The Haymarket Hotel for our 40 wedding anniversary and were there for 4 nights. The hotel is great, oldy worldly but also modern vibes, unique swimming pool with very colorfull umbrellas and lounge beds, very cool ! Staff were brilliant, looked after us and had a treat for our anniversary weekend, so friendly and always happy to help and go the extra mile. Cant recommend The Haymarket enough and we will be back.

We stayed at the Haymarket Hotel in August for a week and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and perfectly located - just a short walk to Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, Covent Garden, and other major attractions. What truly made our stay exceptional was the staff. They were attentive and extraordinary, remembering our names, our meal preferences, and even offering thoughtful suggestions for activities tailored to what we enjoy. Breakfast was delicious every morning, with the wait staff showing the same warm attentiveness. Traveling with family, including our 12-year-old, we were touched by the little details - like the ice cream voucher he received, which he happily enjoyed. These personal touches made us feel genuinely cared for. Highly recommend the Haymarket Hotel for anyone visiting London - it’s the perfect blend of comfort, location, and exceptional service.

We loved the location of this hotel. It was a fabulous jumping off point for many spots in London and the hotel itself was a lovely respite. Great staff and restaurants within the property.

This was an excellent boutique style hotel. The staff was very attentive. It was like having a personal assistant. Beds were very comfortable and the shower/ toilet was very big with bidet and plenty of towels.

From the moment we checked in, the level of service was truly five-star — warm, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive. Traveling with children who have food allergies can be stressful, but the staff at The Haymarket made it completely worry-free. They not only took our concerns seriously but went above and beyond to remember every detail about our kids’ dietary needs throughout the stay. Every meal was handled with care, and we never had to repeat ourselves — an absolute first for us at any hotel. A special thank you to Gregg at the concierge desk, who was exceptional. Gregg made us feel genuinely welcomed, always available to help with anything we needed, from family-friendly recommendations to thoughtful little touches that made our stay even more special. His kindness and professionalism truly stood out. This is a hotel that delivers on every promise of luxury and care, especially for families. This hotel is TRULY incredible. We felt so safe, the employees were amazing and gave us special treats every night for the Taylor swift concert. They made sure we were taken care of when our luggage was lost from the airline. They genuinely cared about us and chatted with us every time we came down. The room was spacious and comfortable bedding. The shower water pressure was great. Good location for Piccadilly square shopping and dining. The bar was great and drinks were amazing. Would absolutely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Haymarket Hotel so much last year that we returned again this year. The staff are amazing. Very friendly, helpful and highly professional. The decor is stunning. The hotel has a lovely light colourful ambience about it giving it a relaxing and refreshing atmosphere. The location is perfect for sightseeing, shows and dining out. But our favourite thing was going for a pre breakfast jog along the Mall, now that was really special.

The property is very nice and it’s a good central location. However, they put us in an accessible room which we did not request. And even though it was considered an upgrade to our original reservation when I asked if we could have the room we booked they said they were sold out. I was disappointed and not happy having to deal with a low sink and bathroom that was meant for accessibility.

Over the past 25 years or so, I’ve stayed at seven of the eight Firmdale hotels (some of them multiple times) in London…and loved every one of them. Not this time. Why? My room was beautiful, spacious, and in impeccable condition. I enjoyed an excellent dinner at Brumos, the hotel restaurant. Unfortunately, there was a teen party with a DJ being held around the pool in the basement, and the bass was so thumping that I could not only hear it, I could feel it underfoot. At 11:15 pm (after several complaints to the front desk), I finally gave up trying to sleep, packed my bags, and moved to a different hotel. I’m astonished that what I consider to be the best hotel chain in the world allows a situation like this to develop. The comfort of your paying guests should be paramount, not offering obnoxiously loud parties for teenagers.

Excellent for many London attractions

Hotel is perfectly placed for His Majestys Theatre where my wife and I enjoyed tickets for The Phantom of the Opera as a wedding anniversary gift. Unfortunately the pool at the hotel was unavailable, due to a private event for the duration of our stay, however to help celebrate our anniversary we were upgraded to a luxury suite and provided with a free bottle of champagne and celebration cake in our room upon arrival. All the hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful, they really know how to look after their guests and nothing is too much trouble. Suite was excellent. We were on 3rd floor and even though with windows open the London traffic can be heard very easilly (and quite noisy of course), as soon as the windows are closed it really is a peaceful suite to stay in and so quiet which made for a great nights sleep. All suite and bathroom supliments were clearly labelled to understand if complimentary or purchased. Food options for both dinner and breakfast at the Brumus restaurant were very extensive with a great wine selection available. Recommend booking in advance and allowing plenty of time to enjoy your meal, though if in a little rush, they will try to accommodate you as best they can. Overal, thoroughly recommend and hope to return again soon.
