Rooms were really comfortable and nicely decorated. It had a more unique feel to the place than most hotels. Easy to get anywhere using nearby underground station. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. It is on a busy road but quiet inside. One thing that was a surprise was the perfume in the lobby but that seems to be a thing in the hotels here.

The room was cleaned well. I would say it’s ideal for 2 people as with 3 people we had issues with where to place our luggage and still being able to move around. In addition the bathroom specifically the toilet is right against the shower door so it feels quite cramped. The on site restaurant Hispania is excellent. The other issue is sound proofing; we could hear the upstairs room guests walking around, talking, and even sneezing. Otherwise it is a great area with lots of restaurants and very beautiful interior design. I would stay here again but perhaps in a different room!

I loved the location, the hotel is beautiful and comfortable. The staff is really friendly and accomodating. The only issue I did not like is the breakfast in Hispania, the service is very lacking especially from a staff member that could not even fanthom to bring a glass of water, let alone pick up the plates, too expensive for the assortment of food and the service. But the hotel service is excellent.

We stayed at a Meliá hotel in Madrid two years ago and really enjoyed the experience. So, when we saw this one available in Kensington—our favorite spot in London—we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. From the timely communication with management, who responded promptly to our questions, to the smooth check in-out process, every aspect of our stay was handled with utmost professionalism. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was superb, and the staff overall was very attentive. We will definitely stay there again.
