Modern 1 Bedroom Canning Town Apartment

Summary:
A spacious and bright 1 bedroom apartment situated in East London, close to great transport links with easy access to central London. This lovely modern apartment has everything required for up to 2 guests to enjoy a comfortable and homely stay in London. There's a spacious double bedroom with crisp hotel linen and fresh towels, a bright open plan living room with balcony, as well as a fully equipped kitchen and modern family bathroom.

The Space:
The interior is lovely and bright and boasts comfortable furnishings and modern appliances throughout. The fully equipped modern kitchen has everything you need to cook meals at home, including an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, pots & pans, crockery and utensils. The open plan living space features a sofa, smart TV and dining table. There is a large balcony that runs along one side of the apartment that can be accessed from both the living room and bedroom. The spacious double bedroom features plenty of storage space and a comfortable bed made up with crisp hotel linen. There's also a modern bathroom with a shower and bath as well as fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries for your use.

Guests have sole access to the whole apartment

The Neighborhood:
Located in Canning Town, East London, there is an abundance of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars within easy walking distance of the apartment. Canning Town and Custom House Underground Stations are just 10 minutes walk from the apartment in either direction, with Jubilee, Elizabeth Line and DLR services providing easy access to all areas of London. Also within easy reach of the apartment is London Royal Docks, home to The ExCel Centre and the Cloud Cable Car

Getting Around:
Situated in East London, with great transport link on your doorstep including Custom House (Elizabeth Line, DLR) and Canning Town (Jubilee Line, DLR) Stations - Central London can be reached within 15 minutes on the Elizabeth line. There are also regular bus routes servicing the main road just a short walk away.

Other Things to Note:
-Please note you must confirm your check in time 24 hours in advance in order to arrange and confirm your check in.
-All guests must present their passport/ID upon check-in
-For check-ins after 10pm there will be fees

-If you fail to arrive at the property within an hour from your scheduled arrival time there will be a fee of £10 for each extra hour you are late. If we need to rearrange your check-in to a later time on the day there will be a £20 fee (if the check-in is later than 22:00 late check-in fees will also apply).
-If you are delayed, please let us know in advance, and depending on the notice, we may be able to able to rearrange check-in.
- For check-ins between 22:00 and 00:00 there is a £50 fee.
- For check-ins after 00:00 there is a £75 fee
- We may be able to arrange a late check-out after 10am if you let us know in advance and depending on the availability of the property.
- Late check-outs are charged at £10 per hour after 10am.
- If you break something, let us know before you check-out so that we can replace it before the next guest arrives.

The apartment is more beat up than the photos suggest but is generally clean. However, several items were missing that I would expect in a rental with a kitchen (dish soap, dishwasher tablets, dishtowels, cutting board). The oven didn't work and there was no indication in the house manual there was any switch. Most importantly, there was no toilet roll and I had to pick that up with my groceries. At that point I hadn't fully reconnaissanced the kitchen and seen the oven didn't work, which would have changed by cooking plans. The shower was adequate but ran cool. You don't expect the world at this price point in London, but you do expect the essentials. I hope future guests have a better experience.
