Affordable stay and great breakfast

Simple, good quality hotel. Easy check in, comfy beds, very happy with the spacious basement room whivh was just like the pictures. We enjoyed the continental breakfast whivh was all good quality produce

Very nice little spot. Quiet. But super close to all your needs. Made my first visit in London very smooth. Front desk is accommodating. No A/C in rooms but a fan is provided and the window opens. It never got brutally hot even in August. Highly recommend!

Our room was fine, except some of the outlets were for Indian plugs, which created an issue as my husband was unable to plug in his CPAP machine. They gave us an adapter that was Indian to European, which we made work. Everything is done through the Sonder app, but we were unable to request a room cleaning as that service “was not yet available”. The location was great, as transport, shopping and dining were all walking distance. The coffee machine was fantastic, but unnecessarily complicated.

The hotel is in a quiet area about 15 min walk from the tube. The room was clean and comfortable. I stayed in a single room and it was perfect for my needs. Staff were helpful when I needed their help. Breakfast had a nice choice of friut, breads & pastries, meat & cheese. I would stay again.

Sonder is a beautiful place to stay. The staff is so pleasant and helpful. In particular Roger was wonderful to talk with about places to visit while in town. Breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Our room was located basement. If I knew subject room is in basement, I would never book it. Deceptive description! Room was so small and dark. It feels like a cheap motel.

I am from the US so I based my decision to stay here on the pictures and description of the hotel and room, which are described exactly as is in person. My room was so cute and cozy! It was warm with a nice heater and an option to crack open my window, put the ceiling fan on and enjoy the nice chill of London weather! The staff were super friendly and offered help learning the Underground travel system. I strongly recommend a stay at Sonder!

Felt very at ease as a single woman in my 70s. Staff so friendly &helpful . The location is great as Plenty within walking distance or public transport.I also liked that there was no fuss, everything well thought out, including breakfast.I would certainly stay there again

The location is amazing, an easy walk to so many iconic London sites. The hands off approach, with service available as needed, really works well for me. And the complimentary continental breakfast and all day pastries and premium coffee was a real treat. The rooms are not large, but they’re comfortable and have everything you need. And did I mention location?

Work trip solo. Offered the key amenities and someone always available for little things. Neighborhood was great.

Comfy and cozy

While the room was bijou, it was comfortable. The breakfast spread was ample and delicious. The only drawback was the lack of adequate lighting. ‘Quiet hours’ from 10 pm to 8 am are conducive to relaxing in peace.

The rooms and bathrooms were a bit dated and musty. The shower was so small that it was a challenge to shower without getting water everywhere. Everything else was great.

The 4th floor room was suffocating and hot with only a tiny ceiling fan. I would NOT recommend. If I hadn’t have been so busy I would have left this hotel and asked for a refund.

No for the summer. There is no aircon. These old terraces are horrible in the summer - especially on the top floors and when the window doesn’t open. Fans just push hot hair and so much dust around. I left early because it was unbearable. The shower clogs so you’re standing in dirty shower water…no air at all…and the bed frame was so pointed I got 2 bruises on my leg. Horrible.

Absolutely loved the area that I was in! The room was cute and worked really well for my two week stay. If I had questions, the staff answered them to the best of their ability! Sonder is located near two underground train stations which made getting around the city really easy. I wish they had some sort of protein option in their breakfast that was offered though because I have to follow a gluten free diet and was not able to eat any of the pasteries/breads available.
