"The Inverness has always been our go to local hotel for quick getaways or celebrations. We enjoyed our stay. Somewhat disappointed with no valet service and paying for parking for our two night stay. JJ was excellent at guest services and took care of us very nicely. The Fireside Grill was a let down. Very limited menu and the service was mediocre at best. The bar didn’t have the ingredients for a Hugo Spritz. When I asked for a bottle of champagne for my room, the bartender didn’t think she had any and was just indifferent to my request. 🙁 We used room service for breakfast, and the food was good and yet our order did not come as ordered and it came in to go containers. The ordering system wouldn’t work for a room charge either. Our room was on the 5th floor with a balcony, which was delightful. Oddly the closet was small and not a full height closet? Our clothes would not hang without clumping on the bottom of the closet. Unfortunately, there was only one hook in the bathroom and no place to hang towels or robes. Our Inverness had changed and although there were some things that disappointed us, we will return."
