"Good location to Convention Center, felt safe walking around in the evening. Nice hotel, may not want to stay on ground floor, but there are only stairs for the upper floors. Restaurants, Vons (Fridge in room) and coffee are within an easy walk. I found street parking (very lucky from the looks of it!) and felt it was safe with all the small apartments nearby, locals coming and going... They offer off-street parking but I didn't need it so can't report. Do look at the street-sweeping signs if you park on street, the days/times change every block it seems!"

"Weekend family trip. We were close enough to walk to the beach and even a few restaurants. Private patio where I was able to enjoy my coffee in the morning was nice. Busy area, but it was not too noisy. Would stay here again but maybe in a suite next time I'm with the family. "
