"A delightfully nifty little hotel in a charming village. It's a bit odd with self check in, and no staff on site, but it's just that a bit odd. Remote/virtual staff, timely, communicated with us on check in and check out. They were easy to contact and communicate with, they were kind and attentive so it didn't matter at all. You could tell someone was around as supplies were refreshed (coffee/water). Lots of easy, close parking. The room was clean and charming. The room included a small fridge, microwave, pod coffeemaker (with pods). Towels smelled fresh and shower had good pressure. Let's talk about the bed! Not only was it a gorgeous 4 poster, but it may well be the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. It was crazy soft but somehow perfectly supportive - I'm a troubled sleeper, but I slept really, really well. The down duvet and assortment of pillows were also perfect. I'm not a big TV person, but with not a lot of nightlife in this glorious little village I enjoyed the nice new TV with the hotel's free Netflix and Prime. The comfy bed and loads of pillows let me prop up in bed like a princess in a 4 poster bed. I am now addicted to "Vikings". We loved our trip and truly enjoyed the Roxy Hotel - we'll be back!"
Beautiful Lake House w/ Private Beach

"Stayed for a week with my wife, adult sons and their wives/gf’s and dogs. House is beautiful and great access to the water. Very relaxing to sit by the campfire at night. Host was very accommodating and easy to contact. Listing is as described. The water is the only real negative, pretty significant sulfer smell. You can’t drink the water and it was tough to even shower. That said Helena is up front about this and left us plenty of water to drink and do the dishes. No issues with neighbors or kids running in the yard as others described in thier reviews, it was very peaceful setting, in fact on 2 mornings we had deer in the yard. The road is very quiet to walk your pets. The deck is huge and a great place to have your meals. Didn’t feel not having AC impacted our stay at all as there were plenty of fans and the breeze cooled the house down at night, I defintely would stay again!"

Charming beachfront cottage in Point Peninsula

"Wonderful spot to relax, play, and crash after exploring the upper lake and 1000 islands region. The kids loved playing in the water in the morning and at the end of the day. if they were a bit older the kayaks would have been great. The lake was mostly too choppy for us to take out our own paddle boards with the kids on board. But there was more than enough to see and do in the area besides. Lots of local farms to get fresh produce and some baked goods too. We were disappointed that there weren’t any fresh fish markets in the area (we don’t fish ourselves), but the area seems to be managing there fish stocks well for those who do fish."

"We enjoyed our week at the Lake House on Pillar Point very much. The sunsets were fantastic and meetings with family and friends that lived close were throughly enjoyable events. Great weather all weekend long and we went up fishing several times "

"What a charming guesthouse! We would Highly recommend this VRBO and the location. Sits just outside the village of Sackets Harbor, short drives to Clayton, Alexandria Bay, Henderson Harbor and Watertown. We especially loved sitting by the water enjoying dinner every single night! Many restaurants to choose from! Our host, Sharon was the sweetest and very accommodating. Her guesthouse is so welcoming and comfortable! I would rate our getaway a 10! Uncle Sam's boat tour - put it on your list! Bella's and Wise Guys restaurant - put them on your list also!!"
