"The house was roomy for our party of 8 (including 3 kids). The washer and dryer were nice to have so that we could leave with clean clothes, and lighten our luggage. The check-in process and entry to the house were super easy, as was communication with the owner. There are 4 bedrooms, but the listing may not detail exactly that you have to go through the bedroom at the top of the steps to get to the twin bedroom, then you get to the queen bedroom, then you get to the other queen bedroom, and single bed at the end. The upstairs bathroom is found in the fourth bedroom upstairs. We were all close family that stayed in the house, so going through one bedroom to get to the other wasn't an issue at all for us at all. The house is also close to Acadia. We were only 30 minutes from the entrance to Cadillac Mountain for those who want to catch the sunrise. I really liked our stay here, and found the house very clean, well stocked, and in a great location."

"What an amazing experience! I would recommend anyone doing this. The boat is just the right size for 2 people wanting to get away, relax and enjoy all that Maine has to offer! The Marina staff are wonderful as well! There are pots for lobsters, clams and even crabs that they let you use along with grills as well! Being from Maine, I can tell you this was an experience of a lifetime!"

"My husband enjoyed an overnight at Lighthouse Cabins. The cabin was a peaceful oasis in coastal Maine, as was Bass Harbor. Quiet, clean, well equipped , our stay was everything we hoped it would be. We would go back in a heartbeat and recommend Lighthouse cabins to anyone we know."
