"An ideal hotel needs to be well-lit as well as feel fresh and welcoming in every aspect. The property is old, carpet reeks stale, and premise feels suffocating. The premise including reception and staircase make you feel not go upstairs and just ask for a refund. The room had yellow wallpaper and dull brown color thrown in the overall layout which felt old, depressing and unclean. Bedsheets had long hair still clinging on there, bathtub tap leaked, TV was a dummy, had a few channels running with no option to connect the cast phone screen and watch a show. The network option was disabled. The air conditioner was old, manual, noisy, and the carpet smelled funky. I had to spray some of my cologne in the room to feel better. Breakfast was a joke - they served watery scrambled eggs, sausages not up to the taste, some bagels and bread with butter and jam, cereal felt stale, and some uncut whole fruits, mainly apples. I skipped breakfast as it seemed totally unappealing and made me lose my apetite. The dining area is small and congested, and feels too hot and humid, probably as it is beside the pool. Staff seemed uninterested and stuck there to earn and pay their bills. I didn't see a single staff member share a smile with anybody for the entirety of my stay. The only good thing was the room was comparatively cheaper than other places, still paid $200 for a night."
