"I stay ger March 14, 2026 and it was the WORST hotel that I have ever stay at. There was no heat in my room 1021. There was no accommodation, nor a discount!!! I woke up sick. The place looks nice, but management do not care or treat you good and did not care that I was sick due to no heat! "

"The apartment was adequate - the listing, however, is misleading in regard to having a washer and dryer, which are not in the rental. I also think that if the renter is paying a cleaning fee (which we were and which was higher than the nightly rental rate), we shouldn't be asked to strip the beds and to take out the trash, which we were asked to do repeatedly in messages from the host. Overall, not a great experience."

"Was booked for three nights at this hotel. Got there and they had given my room away. Said that they had run my card before I even got there and that it declined, which it actually didn’t, my credit card company froze my card because I thought it was fraudulent, so they canceled my reservation. No phone call or anything. Upon arrival to the hotel Expedia said that my room was still booked. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude. Called to speak to management the next day and they said they had no record of my card being run or the room being canceled. They were supposed to call me back with more information and never called back."

"Beautiful quaint rooms and bathrooms, and very clean"

"The rooms are spacious and clean, kitchen is fully equipped for those who want to cook. "

"Beautiful hotel. Smells brand new. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. The restaurant and bar were top notch. Delicious food (the pasta was so fresh) and one of the best espresso martinis I’ve ever had. Our room was super spacious and well stocked with anything we could have wanted. The gym was also beautiful and had so many available workout options. If we are ever back in New Haven we would definitely choose The Blake. "

"Clean room"

"Did not eat at establishment. Elevator area (lobby) has a stale odor. Room appeared to be clean however the Comforter appeared dirty. Sheets were questionable. Bathroom had hair in the sink and shower. I went out and bought supplies and cleaned the room. Stayed there due to daily radiation therapy at Yale. Staff was friendly, no noise so I overlooked the issues. "
