Check-in was simple and receptionist was on site to answer additional questions. Walking across street to beach, beach chairs and umbrellas available. The only challenge i have had was i left a dress behind and haven't heard back about getting it, more on me though.

The condo was lovely and pictures and description were very accurate. Loved the screened patio and the great views of the bay. Condo was very clean and furniture was comfortable, including the beds. The beach was literally across the street and there were always plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas available no matter what time we went down to the beach. There were even a few restaurants in walking distance. My only suggestion would be to better equip the kitchen. We hope to return.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit was very quiet and the bay view was nice. But overall cleanliness was lacking very dusty and had roaches and ants. Told property management and was told that the bug person was coming the day we checked out . We decided to give another RVA location a chance but have noticed the past two times staying with there managed property the bugs have been an issues as well as the cleanliness of the units .

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The 2nd floor condo is a little older but was clean and fresh upon arrival. You do have steps to climb but it is just one floor up. Slight view of Bay Area which was pretty. Walk across the street to beach access which on Longboat Key is critical since they have such limited public access. Nice balcony- just too hot to use it.

A Quiet Getaway

Our trip was a quick little vacation and Beach Castle was a nice and quiet getaway. We loved the private beach and the fact that there were plenty of beach chairs for our use but unfortunately, there were not enough umbrellas. We noticed someone in a past review mentioned mold in the condo but no one had mentioned smelling mold since that time. When we first got to the condo you were hit with a smell of mold at the front door but as you moved to the bedroom, the smell went away. We could only smell the mold in the front entrance and the living room/kitchen area. The longer you stayed in the unit, the less you could smell it. The unit is cleaned by Merry Maid’s but RVA should probably watch them closer, we noticed tags (from a garment purchased) from a previous guest under the bed. It would have been also nice to have more beach towels, we were given 2 beach towels but had 4 people in our party. We were also given no washcloths. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would like to stay at Beach Castle again but in a different unit.

Great Location and View

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this property to stay in while attending a wedding on LBK. The location was perfect for us. It was located near family and friends and within walking distance of great restaurants, stores, bike rentals, etc. The owner provided us with a temporary pass to Cedar's Tennis Resort and Club which we, unfortunately, were unable to use but wished we had the chance as the facilities and restaurant looked great. The management was responsive when needed. The grounds were lovely. Our lanai had a wonderful view of the bay. The beach on the gulf side is within easy walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.
