Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of Island Paradise will have temporary membership privileges at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 p.m. daily and subject to availability), community bicycles and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is dated but it filled our needs. The layout of the house is very good for families. It is a very good value for the space . The pool area is very nice and great for the grandkids, a nice walk to a very nice beach as well, close to a wonderful grocery store. We had a couple of issues but they were quickly taken care of by RVA. A quiet neighborhood , which was great. All in all, a great house for the money.

Your home was very nice and in a good location. We enjoyed your lovely home at the beginning of our vacation, but when we woke up on Wednesday morning the pool was green. I called the VRBO office Wednesday morning and they said they were going to let maintenance know. Since we could not use the pool, we went into St Armand thinking we could use the pool when we got back, but when we got back the pool was still green. I called again Thursday morning and they were going to let the pool person know again. The pool was still green on Saturday when we left and we were very disappointed we could not enjoy the pool.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cute bungalow in a great neighbourhood - close to Publix. St. Armands and the beautiful beaches of Longboat. We especially enjoyed the pool and spa and had some great family bbq’s during our stay. Every room had a smart TV, bicycles galore in the garage and every pool toy you would ever need. Furniture and home is dated but well maintained. Would return next season if possible.

The location was perfect, with a short walk to the beach, the grocery store and lots of restaurants. the view with a cup of coffee in the morning overlooking the water across the street, fabulous!! the pool wasn't working up to par, but usable. Not a fan of the white carpeting in the house - this is probably the only negative comment I have to say about the house. the management company was very responsive if something needed to be fixed (light bulbs out in the laundry room). they were very responsive.

Other than the location, the home has some nice features such as a all season room that overlooks a canal to the Bay and 2 of the 3 BR have King size beds and new large screen TVs in most rooms. The downside is the pool and hot tub. The hot tub suddenly drained in the first week and was never operating the rest of the month. The pool heater only worked for 2 weeks of the month. There is also an opportunity to upgrade the furnishings and kitchen which was not well equipped.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We endured a major plumbing problem on Christmas evening! We had a chance to speak with the plumber who arrived early the next morning and while the issue was temporarily fixed it appears that this is a problem waiting to happen again. We would not recommend renting this property until the repairs are done and they are major. The issue presented a serious health concern and should not be taken lightly. The bathrooms need to be updated and new toilets should be a part of that. While the management company was very responsive to the problem and getting a cleaning service in we were a bit uneasy.There were other problems that need addressing as well. The pool was losing water and had to be periodically refilled. The pool people were aware of that. Only one light by the pool was working.The gas tank for the grill was empty.On leaving the dish washer was started and over flowed.We felt that our concerns were handled quickly by the management company but generally feel that approval of a property for rental should be given serious and thoughtful consideration.We would not recommend this property until the necessary repairs are done.

After fixing the hot tub, and heated pool, a Keystone Kops routine where the owner did not know the one simple operation to,turn i it on, which delayed use over Christmas , everything else was fine. Forgot some important items in a drawer and Christie retrieved them and sent them on to us which made up for the nuisance of no pool for two and a half days.
