She even had English language literature for nearby sights and local food and beverages for us to try. "Communication was a bit of a problem as I don’t speak French and never received an actual address. A bit of a smell when we arrived and a few bugs in the unit. However, we loved the backyard garden area and spent the entire evening back there. Also to note, no hand or dish drying towels in the kitchen or downstairs bathroom. There is no dishwasher here."

"This was a great little apartment for my husband, I and our daughter. We were able to visit the D-Day sites, including the American Cemetery. Catherine was so very helpful and kind. We speak very little French, but we laughed together and made it work. All the people of the area were wonderful. Thank you, Catherine!"

"Apartment has been nicely renovated. Amazing views of the sea. We enjoying watching the tides. Morning walk to get fresh fish. Grocery is within walking distance and has a good selection. "The reason we booked this apartment was that they advertised baby cots, which I reserved and emailed separately to confirm. When we were arrived they confirmed a cot was set up in the room for us. However, there was no cot and one could not be found in the building. This was extremely inconvenient as we have a small baby with us."
