The shower mechanism in the faucet was stuck so only the bath faucet worked. Apparently there is no maintenance available on the weekends, which seems odd as I would expect that to be the busiest time to have service available. We were told there was no other room to switch us to and it was 11pm before we discovered this issue. We also had to call twice to geta blow dryer to the room.

Thanks for the many stays.

We have stayed at this location in Longview 6 or 7 times over the past 5 years. It's a good place to stay for the money. The property has aged over time and there are things that need some work here and there but everything works in the rooms we have had. Sometime in the past year they stopped serving breakfast which caught us off guard earlier this year but there are plenty of places nearby to find food. This will most likely be our last stay as our student has finished school in Longview and is moving on. Hasta La Vista Red Roof Inn.

Breakfast is advertised when booking through the site and inside the hotel, but in the morning, the receptionist said they haven't been serving breakfast for over a year. Additionally, the water in the shower doesn't get very hot.

I was traveling with my elder handicapped parent and we were placed on the 2nd floor. The problwm with that was the button for the elevator did not work on the 2nd floor. Had there been a need to evacuate quickly she would have had an extremely difficult time doing so.

Initially i was quite impressed. But after 3 days, the wear and tear on the property became more obvious. My 3rd night was problematic because after 3 trips for my key to work it was determined that my lock wasn't working. I was given another room but had to wait until a crew could bust the lock in door . After a long night i was able to get in 307 to obtain my luggage.

The TV didn't work. No phone to the front desk (like Quality Inns).Elevator wasn't working and my room was on the 3rd floor. Limited selection at breakfast (I got there at 8:20 AM - closing time was 9:00 AM). The biscuits were rock hard, I couldn't cut them with my plastic knife.

The staff was very friendly. The room was also clean with multiple tv channels to choose from. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were lumpy. The area safe with easy on and off from highway.
