"Fantastic location. Very comfortable beds with lots of space which is not custom in Europe. One of the best showers ever complete with a towel heating rack! Very quiet. Very clean. The pool spa hours weren’t ideal 1-9pm so we never made it there even when trying to rush back from dinner one evening. Would stay here again in a heartbeat."

"Great location for exploring the city by foot or public transport. Opulent communal areas with piano player in the bar. Reasonable sized rooms but a bit tired. Jug did not work, bed soft but comfortable and curtains needed some attention. We had a good few days here and it’s close to launderettes. "

"No way is this a 4* hotel! The first night of our stay, our room had no AC. When I tried to call the desk, the phone in the room didn’t work. After going down to the desk to complain, a staff person was sent up to assess the situation. After his expert evaluation, we were told that the AC wasn’t working and he could open a window after I signed a waiver. They had no other room for us. Our compensation for the major inconvenience was complimentary breakfast in the morning. In addition, the room was tiny and in need of immediate updating and there were no amenities."

"Ikonik Parlament is an ideal choice for visiting Budapest. It’s very clean, stylish with nice decor in the lounge, bar and breakfast area. Staffs are polite, helpful and efficient. The Parlament suite is spacious and elegant. Will come back when next Budapest visit. "

"From the outside, the hotel looks a bit dated but it was bright and modern inside. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, with a wide variety of options available each morning. We also enjoyed using the spa which was well maintained. Our room was a good size. The only downside was that the air conditioning was difficult to work and there was no instruction manual provided so our room was very hot. We were on the second floor facing the car park and we would get cigarette smoke coming in through our open window, as people would smoke close to the building and it would drift up. Location-wise, it is a little bit away from the city centre but it’s a pleasant 40 minute walk along the Danube, or the nearest metro is a 10 minute walk away. Overall, I would stay here again!"
