This is a wonderful bed and breakfast. Staff is always friendly and the rooms are always clean. We stay here every year to at Christmas time to see the lights at Rock City. The breakfast is always good and so are the afternoon snacks.
Beautiful spot, fresh cooked to order breakfast and delicious afternoon treats. Charming setting with rooms in individual cottages around a beautiful courtyard.
We stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon and had a great experience. The service was excellent, and the staff was always professional and attentive. Breakfast was consistently high quality and delicious. The rooms were very clean, housekeeping was done properly every day, and our privacy was always respected.
The hotel offers a calm and peaceful atmosphere, ideal for rest and relaxation. It is also conveniently located near many beautiful places to visit and enjoy nature, including stunning sunrises and sunsets. We visited in December, so due to the season we couldn’t enjoy the pool, but our 7-night stay was still excellent overall. We would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.
I felt the staff were too young and inexperienced to run a B&B. They weren’t knowledgeable about the area and handled several situations loud enough for me to hear. Hearing someone complain about another guest is never a good look

Small room, heating system extremely noisy (Nov 5th 2025)
The location on the mountain top was perfect and very close by the sites we wanted to visit. The evening guest fire pit was relaxing and enjoyable. We look forward to our next visit.
The Inn is enchanting. Lovely setting, patio, evening fireplace, delicious treats and beverages all the time. Exceptional breakfast. The chef prepared delicious sandwiches for me to take to my retreat.
The staff went above and beyond with joy.
We’ve been going to this inn for about 25 years now. We’ve seen it go through 4 different owners. Rock city has bought the Inn and it’s lost that personal touch we were used to. Does not have that cozy feel anymore! And the breakfast is the minimum now, used to have a lot more food. Disappointed! Sad!!
