We stayed in a room with a beautiful view of the ocean. Swimming pool and jacuzzi were the cleanest we’ve ever seen at a hotel! The Islander restaurant food was very good and we also enjoyed fabulous ocean views while we ate our meals.

The staff was courteous and friendly, and the views from the restaurant were absolutely amazing. The rooms were clean, although they could benefit from some updating and modernization. The food was average and not particularly memorable. That said, it’s important to recognize the hotel’s rural island location, where expectations and available options may be different than at a larger destination. Overall, the property has a lot of potential, especially given the beautiful setting and welcoming service.

It was a clean simple motel stay with excellent water access and a nice view of Fisherman's bay Only complaint was our upstairs neighbors were a bit loud (I suspect they were locals) but we were off-season on a Friday night, it was fine.

This is a throw-back to the days of the good old motor lodge. A tiki bar bar, for starters but a tiki bar with good local beer. A wonderful shaded pool area. Light switches that are self-evident and don't require an engineering degree to figure out. Instructions to housekeeping that are followed. You know what I am talking about. The one downside? The patio doors/balconies all face the setting sun, which leads to three hours a night of intense sunlight and heat in a non-air conditioned room. But the rest of it is good enough to leave the room from 4 to 7 p.m. and do something, which is what vacations should be about, right? We were skeptical of the restaurant, but it turned out to be fine as well. So, resist the urge to judge this place. It is not half bad. And it represents something that is quickly disappearing.

We missed our ferry the first night and they were so accommodating and making sure we were able to get to Lopez. The room was very clean and the restaurant attached was very good! The staff were nice and helpful. We also arrived for a local art show happening in the main building and we enjoyed checking that out.

We had a great time at the Islander resort! The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The hot tub could definitely use some maintenance as the concrete is chipping off. Heat was pretty good. Excited to come back in the summer to access the pool. This is probably where we would choose to stay again. The bar and restaurant were fantastic, with friendly staff and great food. It was so nice to have a restaurant and bar so close.
