"Beautiful cottage on the lakeside! My friends and I very much enjoyed using the water toys and hanging out by the deck. People around this cottage were very friendly as well. The cottage was super clean, had very nice furniture, and organized. Our main purpose of this trip was to make good meals and hang out by the lake. Couple things that could have made our trip a 5 star, we loved all the amenities in the kitchen however it was hard to use without cooking oil, we wished he had known that before our arrival. For the bbq grill the gas tank was almost empty on our arrival, having the solution ready on deck for us would have saved time and not have our food on the grill cold. For entertainment such as Netflix, having a guest account for travellers would be handy instead of messaging the host for a PIN code. I was advised to use my own account during my stay, not the best solution I was looking for. Lastly, my friends and I were so mindful with the garbage disposal rules due to the penalty fee, it was very inconvenient to be advised to take the garbage to a dump and then be advised the dump is closed. If the dump is not open and were expected to take our garbage, a later checkout time could of helped. Overall great cottage, hope this feedback helps. "This was our first time getting all our family together in one location at the same time and everyone had a great time. There were 3 generations - grandparents to small children - and the place offers something for everyone. The house was large with more than enough room for our group of 16. The long dining table allowed everyone to eat together in comfort. The well-equipped kitchen with double oven made cooking easy. The open-concept Great Room was spacious enough for everyone while the smaller peripheral rooms allowed people to have some quite time away from the group if they desired. Wifi was strong for those needing to work, beds were large and comfortable, and the basement games room had something for everyone. We rented a pontoon boat from the local marina which was a great addition to the weekend's activities. Kim and Mark were wonderful hosts. It was easy to text them if we had any questions and we always got an immediate response. There were small touches of hospitality everywhere - bug spray, hats, doggie bags, shampoo & conditioner, coffee, condiments...all available for use by guests. We booked our stay because I said I wanted the "VRBO commercial" for my 60th Birthday and that's exactly what I got! Everything was just perfect. Thank you Kim and Mark for making our trip a one-of-a-kind experience for everyone in our group."

"Our stay at this amazing cottage was picture-perfect! Firstly, the responses by the hosts, Christina and Preban, were very much appreciated - responses to our questions were quick and so detailed! I had no doubt what to expect and we were able to plan for a wonderful vacation. The property was in excellent condition, inside and out. Everything was very clean. We appreciated the hot tub which was well-maintained and we did our job to continue to apply the necessary chemicals. We really appreciated the bug screen on the gazebo (bugs in May can be overwhelming but as regular campers, we were not discouraged to enjoy the outdoors). The dock was an amazing place to enjoy the hot weather (and some recreational fishing) and the kayaks were in excellent condition. The firepit was well-equipped with great seating and gave us an opportunity to enjoy the cottage nightlife outdoors. The cottage was stocked with everything you would commonly need, inside and out, for a stress-free stay. The TV streaming was not used much because the weather was so perfect but having the choice for a rainy/cold day would be nice. Internet wifi was very strong everywhere on the property. We have already told many friends and family about the place and look forward to the next opportunity to stay and bring some additional guests with us and use the loft. "Amazing location and coziest wooden cabin. The cast iron stove kept us toasty and warm. Markus and Burgi were great hosts! We did a improvised winter canoe trip and got to see a family of otters! In a nutshell: it was all and more we wanted for a getaway weekend."

"This cottage was the perfect getaway for the two of us and our adult son. We stayed for two weeks and enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the (private) lake and being off-grid. For the most part, we were the only ones on the lake which was amazing. Fishing was awesome and provided a couple of meals. Like another review, we were warmly welcomed by Todd, with fresh baked bread and eggs, a wonderful surprise. Todd was more than accommodating, responding immediately to any questions we had. The screened in building by the lake was amazing. We had all our meals there and enjoyed nights of Scrabble by the fire; and, listening to the rain. Absolutely perfect, we'll be booking again next year!"

"We spent a week at this wonderful cottage with our 3 young kids and it was so nice. The dock was great for fishing, the sand beach was beautiful and perfect for the kids to play. A very cozy and comfortable cottage with a great sunroom, and a deck for dinners outside. Would highly recommend this beautiful cottage!!"
