Our host is rightly proud of the apartment (a family home) and it shows in the furnishings and supplies for the kitchen (we shopped in the market and cooked our meals as part of this trip, so that was an important feature). Laura provided an informative guide with comprehensive lists and suggestions, but also pointed out some hidden gems and some of her favourite places, and those were excellent suggestions. "Room was beautiful and spacious. Came with gorgeous tub, robe and slippers that made it extra comfortable after a long day of sightseeing. The pool is gorgeous as well as the grounds (garden and walking area). They have pool side service for cocktails and food. Absolutely would stay here again."

"The accommodation is very good value for money. Nice facilities. The food in the restaurant is excellent and at a very reasonable price. Just one small complaint. We arrived in a torrential downpour, but had to wander around the site in the dark looking for our chalet. I thought a little buggy to help travellers would be a good idea."

"This is a very special Tuscan style hotel in the beautiful countryside surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. The staff were excellent, special mention goes to Elisa ,and the food was amazing. My only feedback, if you pay for a treatment the other spa facilities should be included. Also, the gym is very small but let's I wasn't there to train."

"I highly recommend this hotel. Absolutely a ten out ten. Friendly staff. The breakfast one of the best most complete manus excellent. Totally worth it!!!! The location is ideal you can walk to Michallangelo square and the town. One piece of advice we made the mistake and walked from the train station to the hotel is about 30 minutes. Taxis are expensive about 40 euros. Take the bus number 14 only one euro lives right by the hotel and in front of the train station. If I ever come back to Florence will definitely stay in this hotel. Thank you to everyone in the hotel loveeeed it!!!!"

"Lovely hotel, room was comfortable with all amenities you could need. The spa was very nice and a little getaway inside Florence. We were able to book the Spa and have it for ourselves even in the middle of summer. Breakfast and pool are great. We opted to use the bikes they provide to get to town, the hotel is right on a bike path and it is a straight shot to get to the city center. Great location but still far enough that it is quiet, and we had wonderful little sunset bike rides into town by the river. Highly recommend the staff are wonderful."
