"Our stay was aboslutely wonderful! The house and farm lies high up in the Tuscan hills and we were immersed in lush greenery with a river flowing nearby. Lorenzo was very welcoming and cooked us a delicious Tuscan dinner every night. We also loved his beautiful dog and two cats who made our stay extra nice! The room was sprakling clean and very cozy. "We loved staying here. Barbara was kind, accommodating and made us feel really welcome. She was super with our little daughter. This place has also a hidden gem of a waterfall at a walking distance from the property. Loro Ciuffenna and its surroundings (including Arezzo) is a wilder and beautiful part of Tuscany who I would recommend visiting to anyone. *****"

"Stunning location! I wish we had been able to stay another night and spend a day by the beautiful pool. The drive to Arezzo was short, which allowed for exploring and dinner in the old part of the city!"

"My wife and 3 young (8 and under) children stayed here and we loved it. It was the perfect B&B experience and very child friendly. Mrs Francesca was a sweetheart and prepared amazing cakes and treats for every breakfast. The beautiful property was like an Italian fairy tale and close to many must see sites. "

"Our family of 5 stayed for 4 nights. We spent some days exploring the area and seeing some of the nearby towns and relaxing at La Nussa.
La Nussa was wonderful. The property is beautiful. The pool allowed us to cool off on hot days. Our hosts were wonderful. They made us feel welcome and cared for. It is obvious that they enjoy hosting and caring for people.
The hosts had suggestions for sights to see nearby and places to eat. The rooms were clean and cooled by AC.

"Very family friendly! Pools were amazing! Great food at the restaurant. Convenient place with nearby laundry area, bar, and grocery store. Super friendly staff."
"What a great hotel, with a terrific location in Florence! Their special touches (happy hour!), attention to detail and welcoming attitude really stood out. We loved the location. It 's a peaceful oasis away from the bustle, but gives easy access to the key sites. It's right on several city bus lines and the City Sightseeing Line that takes you around the city and up to Fiesole (definitely worth the trip to get out of the city, see ruins, and get spectacular views). It's also right by the Arno, so you can walk or run along the river or along a shady sidewalk up to the views over the city - all right outside your door. They also have a lovely shaded garden and an outdoor breakfast space.
The AC was ESSENTIAL, as it got over 100 farenheit every day we were there. We also had a balcony, which was nice in the cooler morning hours.
There's also a taxi stand right outside, and the staff will get one to come up to the gate upon request. We had absolutely no problem getting around, and though it's outside the hectic tourist area, everything feels accessible, and I imagine even better when it's not so hot out.
I would definitely stay here again!"
"We weren’t sure whether to book our 2 night stay based on other reviews, but we are so glad that we did. We arrived by car and there was ample free parking on site. A car park in Florence was recommended by the lobby staff that was a 15 minute drive and had lots of spaces and not insanely priced, the centre was then a 10 minute walk from there.
The hotel was spotless, easy check in, big room. Pool was great, the kids loved the splash area and there was even a FREE arcade room in the basement! The kids loved it. Breakfast was a god buffet with plenty for me as vegetarian and gluten free bread etc for my wife. Plenty of fruit and pastries for the kids! The beds were large and comfortable, air con great. Room has a fridge and some free waters which was a nice touch along with a coffee machine.
A really good stay, well priced and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if coming to Florence. There is a shuttle bus that you can book a seat on too, but we didn’t use this as had the car. Great hotel"
"We recently spent a week at Villa Olmi and had the most incredible time. The hotel itself is beautiful, a peaceful oasis to escape the busy city. The grounds were kept beautifully and the pool area in particular felt so pristine, plenty of fresh towels, super clean and drinks/food delivered to your sun bed- a total dream!
Rooms were great with air con that kept them cool during the recent heatwave. Our room near the pool was the perfect location too, literally steps to our sun beds. The bathrooms could do with updating I feel, but they were fine and kept clean.
All staff at the hotel were so lovely, warm and welcoming. The reception team were always helpful with questions we had (for example needing a different adapter for our plugs!). The wait staff were also all very attentive and friendly. The housekeeping team also- working that job during hot weather must be tough but they were so smiley and kind.
Food at breakfast was great, such a good selection. The restaurant was also super tasty and a lovely setting to have dinner. One comment would be more of a varied menu, we were there for a week and the menu didn’t change so we did go elsewhere for variety.
The shuttle bus was very useful and a great addition to have as it’s too far to walk into Florence. However I think a later shuttle bus to allow staying out for dinner would have been great, also dropping closer to the city centre as the 20 min walk from the bus was hard in the heat.
Overall an excellent stay!"
"We stayed here for the first part of our honeymoon, and it was perfect! The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and specious and the AC was amazing for how hot it was! The property is very well maintained, the pool is lovely and we very much enjoyed the restaurant for breakfast and dinner a few nights.
While we loved the quiet location, it is about a 15 minute drive to downtown Florence, so cabs back and forth can get expensive. Regardless, it was an absolutely wonderful stay and would recommend!"
"We spent a wonderful week at Borgo Scopeto and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. It has everything you'd hope for from a luxury Tuscan retreat: beautiful historic buildings, immaculately kept grounds, and a peaceful atmosphere full of character. The staff were warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling intrusive, and the food was consistently excellent.
One of the biggest advantages is its location. Siena is only a short drive away - you can even see the city's campanile while having breakfast - so it was easy to combine days by the pool with exploring one of Tuscany's most beautiful cities (and, inevitably, a bit of shopping to keep our teenage daughter happy).
A fantastic place to stay, and one we'd happily recommend."

"This is a great hotel for a stay near a city. The staff were friendly and the service was good. Breakfast was well thought out but we feel that the general menu for lunch and dinner needs improvement. The quality of the food we ate there was good though. The gym was lacking, very small. The pool area was a bonus, didn’t struggle to get a sun lounger, would have liked more staff presence here for a five star hotel. We heard that they were short of staff members due to long term illness though. Overall a good experience. The WhatsApp messaging service worked really well for booking gym, shuttle service (a great bonus for the location of hotel)."
