Villa Neroli

Villa Neroli

10/10 Excellent
"We stayed here for the first part of our honeymoon, and it was perfect! The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and specious and the AC was amazing for how hot it was! The property is very well maintained, the pool is lovely and we very much enjoyed the restaurant for breakfast and dinner a few nights. While we loved the quiet location, it is about a 15 minute drive to downtown Florence, so cabs back and forth can get expensive. Regardless, it was an absolutely wonderful stay and would recommend!"

10/10 Excellent
"Great hotel, around 20 mins drive from Florence so not too far but bear in mind if you’re driving there is a restricted zone. The property is an old mill from the 1300s with a beautiful view over the River Arno. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was very nice - although it’s certainly nothing particularly exceptional, just an ok buffet spread with the usual. The rooms are nice but a little dated (however it’s a really really old building, so some might find this part of the charm). Overall would go back and recommend."

FH55 Grand Hotel Mediterraneo

FH55 Grand Hotel Mediterraneo

8/10 Good
"Location was not too far from the main parts but far enough to avoid crowds of the city. It looked like the room temperature cannot be controlled by the room thermostat It was centrally set to ~18C which during the day was perfect but at night, it felt cold. They provide 2 bottled water per day with no way to fill up water bottles. This was surprising since there was a lot of mention of being 'green'. The bar refused to fill up my water bottle due to 'hotel policy'. Breakfast was excellent with good friendly staff."

Borgo Scopeto Wine & Country Relais

Borgo Scopeto Wine & Country Relais

10/10 Excellent
"We spent a wonderful week at Borgo Scopeto and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. It has everything you'd hope for from a luxury Tuscan retreat: beautiful historic buildings, immaculately kept grounds, and a peaceful atmosphere full of character. The staff were warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling intrusive, and the food was consistently excellent. One of the biggest advantages is its location. Siena is only a short drive away - you can even see the city's campanile while having breakfast - so it was easy to combine days by the pool with exploring one of Tuscany's most beautiful cities (and, inevitably, a bit of shopping to keep our teenage daughter happy). A fantastic place to stay, and one we'd happily recommend."

8/10 Good
"This is a great hotel for a stay near a city. The staff were friendly and the service was good. Breakfast was well thought out but we feel that the general menu for lunch and dinner needs improvement. The quality of the food we ate there was good though. The gym was lacking, very small. The pool area was a bonus, didn’t struggle to get a sun lounger, would have liked more staff presence here for a five star hotel. We heard that they were short of staff members due to long term illness though. Overall a good experience. The WhatsApp messaging service worked really well for booking gym, shuttle service (a great bonus for the location of hotel)."

"We liked our stay at the Hotel Jane. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. It’s located in a nice part of town, quiet and pleasant. There’s a nice little laundromat one block away, (you don’t have to worry about buying detergent because it’s automatically added to the machines) This hotel is 100% recommended!"
