Pictures on listing are extremely outdated. Lots of upgrades are needed at the property. Was not clean, silly string stuck to the walls, sheets were not recently washed. Water damage around the entire house, no access to back porch. It served its purpose for a roof over our heads but will not stay here again. Positives were the location and distance to the beach.

It was a lovely location where we needed and the house was in a nice neighborhood. Loved that the host offered board games and the projector for the tv was a very cool touch!Overall a good trip but the reason for it not being a 5-star visit was just due to general maintenance and cleanliness of the facility. Hair in the bathtub, sticky counters, light switch falling out the wall, and a massive yellow stain on the bedsheet. The host was very nice and accommodating, no complaints.

Great location and price for the area.

Really enjoyed the area this little place was located, we had some amazing Thai food in walking distance from us. Long Beach seems to be on the expensive end, so it was nice to fine this place more in our budget. Host was communicative. Listing photos could use a little updating as some of the furnishings have changed.

We're first timers on Vrbo & this was perfect experience.

We definitely had a better experience in this home rather, than another hotel. Which was the reason we chose vrbo. WE loved the house, my kids felt comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet and quite close to everything we needed!! even cool lil surprises we found there. Overall our family vacation was probably our most comfortable and relaxing BIG THANKS TO THIS HOUSE!! i was able to even wash clothes huge help. If its available next year i would book again for sure!!

Message to the host

I reserved the spot for 2 of my students who were presenting their research in a National Conference and here is the message they sent me after their staying: Thanks so much for hosting a great spot, We had a great time in Long Beach presenting our research! Thank you for being so courteous when we showed up way earlier than the check-in time.

Made our trip very comfortable

We Flew in from LAX and it was only a 30 minute drive. The house is a little old however it is still very comfortable and very clean. The host was very nice and let us check in earlier for an additional fee. The location was waking distance from a lot of restaurants, bars and convince stores. As well as a short scooter ride to the beach. We loved everything about the property and the area we stayed at. Some areas of opportunity or constructive feedback I can give is that the check in process could be better with a keypad which would make it easier than caring around a key and would also make us more comfortable leaving the house without thinking we could drop the key. There was no check out instructions, and the laundry room leaked water when it rained. Overall the stay was very lovely and for the price we paid made it very worth it!

Wonderful Stay

We needed accommodations a few days before a Carnival cruise. As advertised, the location was convenient to beach access, shopping, and a variety of restaurants. Home is old but cute and comfortable.

Perfect location. Great value

This sweet cottage was perfect for myself and my two teen daughters. As a single mom I felt totally safe walking to all the fun areas close by with my girls. The house is old and has that cool charm. Relaxing on the front and back patios each morning and evening was great. The top bunk mattress was a bit uncomfortable for my 14 year old but other than that we all slept great! The host was very responsive and welcoming. We will stay again for sure.

Good for the price

Very old but charming house. Not as clean as I would have liked, blinds in main bedroom are broken (stuck in the closed position, which is better than stuck open) and poor lighting. I had a to use my flashlight to go though my luggage even with the light on. However, it had PARKING which makes it worth it! I had no idea how nice a dedicated parking spot would be!
