2/10 Terrible

VERY NOISY - the property isn't advertised as being across the street and above an outdoor nightclub, but it is. On the first night we returned home exhausted to hear and feel the room vibrate from the club booming away across the street. It continued on throughout the night till 4am and then re-started for the cleaning up at 8am. The place is let by Pelican Residences (who aren't supposed to sub-let through Airbnb, we were asked not to enter through reception to avoid awkward questions). Pelican refused to allow us to cut short our booking without penalty. They offered to refund one of the three day booking if we left the apartment by 11am on the second day which we couldn't afford to do.
Hotels.com promised to get us out of the agreement given the situation, we were on a family vacation and couldn't get any sleep. However, when Pelican refused to agree they simply gave up and offered no further help.
The area is going through a massive regeneration programme so you should also be aware that the lorries rock up at 8am and throughout the day and sit below the apartment with their engines running and you have the workmen and heavy duty tools working on the sites right next to the residence.
The apartment itself is spacious, clean and would have been lovely to stay in if it wasn't for the noise.
