Hotel was fine. It was clean and convenient to get to our cruise ship. The only thing we were not prepared for was that they do not have an elevator and we had to carry our 50 pound pieces of luggage up three flights of stairs.

The property was neat and clean, communication smooth. It’s a full self-service hotel, so there is no need to meet anyone at the check in and out. The location was great and a walkable distance from/to the Convention Center. The only negative part was a weird smell on a corridor, likely from a cleaning detergent.

Hotel metropolitan is a fantastic option in Long Beach. I’ve stayed there multiple times. It is clean and quiet, and the rooms are large and equipped with kitchenettes and all necessary amenities. The location is also fantastic, close to lots of shops and restaurants.
